Slowly but steadily, crystal manifestations have taken hold. Their growth would be imperceptible if it were not for the efforts of Havamal's best and sharpest minds, but our heroes are no closer to determining the cause—or the potential consequences, should the crystals proceed to swell unchecked.

But this is not the only change to visit Havamal in recent weeks. The leaves brown on the trees as expected for this time of year, but many have noted that daylight extends far into the evening, perhaps even longer than in the summer months. What's more, a certain Oracle of Light has discovered an anomaly in one particular manifestation: where the crystals were unaspected previously, the grand hall's growth has—somehow—been imbued with the element of light.

Perhaps these events are connected - to many, they certainly appear so. What our heroes choose to do now is their decision alone. Meanwhile, the last heir to the throne of Lucis is battling a unique decision of his own...
