He hadnât really expected much â after all, who would expect someone to be hiding in their office after returning from dinner â nor had he heard much sans what he suspected to be the shuffling of mice, so he simply sat down at his desk. If his intruder was watching, they would see him prop his legs up on his desk and lean back in his chair, picking remnants of dinner out of his teeth.
Once dinner was finished being fished out, he leaned further back to stretch heavily, gut making itself more prominent as his arms reached further over his head. One eye cracked open and â
Whoa. His eyes widened. He could see a pinkish coat tail peaking from around the edge of the counter.Â
ââŚCan I help you?âÂ
She remains as still as possible as the other comes in, to the point of holding her breath as much as she can manage. Watching as he seats himself, they take his relaxed demeanor as a sign of not being spotted yet. Okay, that was at least good. Means she still had a chance- maybe if she just waited it out, heâd just go ahead and leave, giving her a window to sneak back out with out even being- shit.Â
Okay, so much for that. Maybe this was still salvageable, there was something she could do to squeeze her way out of here. No point in hiding now that sheâd been spotted, Lidia stood slowly, facing the other. But how to try and answer, without raising suspicion...?
âIâd- Perhaps. You-â câmon, think of something! â-Have you seen a rat in here? Blonde-ish colored? Heâs one of mine pets, so, Iâd hate for something to have happened to him...â
