Pocket Monsters: Bros Card (Base Set) (1997)

The first entry in an odd, fascinating product line: GB Pocket Cards. Often labeled on ebay as "mini flakes," the small square chips were gotten at random from gashapon machines. Each set has a different battle mini-game based off the backs. In this instance, players compare arrows on the back of their chosen card; winner takes the loser's card. The player with the most cards at the end wins!

Pokopia Ikea Set (2026)

Part of the (very wordy) "Discover the joy of everyday life with Pokémon at IKEA" event, that ran from April 1 to May 10. It included a stamp rally (the unmarked stamp rally sheet included here) and a 6 sticker set (obtained either one at a time if spending ¥5,000 or more; or as a full set by entering a lottery). It also includes a special IKEA Island in the Pokopia video game, which is visitable until June 30, 2026.

I'm not too sure where the pick came from... Perhaps as part of a food set in the cafeteria?

Released as a lottery prize (alongside other membership cards with other Pokemon) in celebration of the Pokemon Center Online website's 10th anniversary in February 2026.

Postcard (2000)

This is clearly part of a postcard book, though I've yet to find which it came from...

This one also has a little riddle: The Pokemon on this postcard form a shiritori chain (a list of words in which the last letter is the first letter of the next word. Shiritori is usually played by 2 or more people, with the loser being the one who can't come up with a response OR gives one that ends in 'n'). What is the chain? (Answer: Ladyba (Rediba) -> Batafuri (Butterfree) -> Rizado (Charmeleon) -> Dodorio (Dodrio) -> Onisuzume (Spearow) -> Metamon (Ditto))
