Hello! My name is Satoshi Fuji, and as you can see, I am interested in Dittos! Dittos are the most interesting Pokemon in the entire universe, as they can change into any other Pokemon, an ability only seen by the Mythical Pokemon, Mew! Now you might think that Zorua are similar, but they are not! Zorua only use an illusion, while Ditto physically rearrange their genetic code to become another Pokemon, it is completely different!

Now, Ditto are interesting as they only popped up around 20 years ago, and I have been studying them ever since, I was the first person to ever catch and write papers about Ditto when I was a young man! So I have a very personal connection to these adorable blobs.

Anyway, about me! I have a doctorate in Pokemon biology from the Kanto Institute of Pokemon Research, I have worked in this field for many years and I reside in Kanto, the place where Ditto originate! If you come across an interesting Ditto, please let me know!

Anyway, here is my team:

-Dit: A ditto, of course! No abnormalities from other Ditto, but the first Ditto ever caught, pretty cool!

-Mini-Dit: A ditto! This one only transforms into miniature versions of the Pokemon it tries to copy, however

-Shine: A ditto! A shiny, however, with a nice blue hue.

-Derpy: A ditto! who's face never changes, keeping the cute ditto look!

-Skitto: A ditto! who refuses to turn into anything but Skitty. Cute, but generally not very useful.

-Kiddo: A ditto! My baby ditto, only recently hatched.

My nephew has told me to put an image of myself on here so people know what I look like, so I will enclose a recent vacation picture where I am looking my best

Hey y’all! It’s Sirius here, and I’m going through it! It’s finals season, and it’s currently study week and after that I have finals week, so I’m probably not going to post much, which is why I haven’t been posting a lot in general. I’ll be back, I’m not abandoning my blog! I’m just incredibly stressed.

So, doing some more research on Ditto, and I’m investigating their social dynamics, it’s so interesting as Ditto seem to often live in groups with either other Ditto or other pokemon they’ve shifted to look like. As Ditto has to be looking at a Pokémon to transform, it can cause issues if there are separated from the group for some reason.

So, as I have no way to reach One, I have decided to continue my research into dittos, as that’s the only productive thing that I can do right now.

Hey, One. I heard you preferred that over another name so I’ll call you that. I just wanted to say…I’m sorry. I messed up and I didn’t speak out when I should’ve. I’m sure your life has been hard, there’s no other being like you, in the entire world. It must be lonely.

You don’t have to accept my apology but I hope you consider me a friend one day. I’m not perfect, and I admit that. We did something wrong that day. There’s a reason why not one of us continued that branch of research. We regret it.

I don't know but trying to find their hiding spot (where they feel safe) sounds like a non-optimal plan to me? Or somewhere else they're likely to find it?

Okay slight issue, I’m very much a homebody and I’m trying to track down One, but all of my equipment is kind of ditto specific and doesn’t seem to work for them?? I guess I could call my uncle to ask him about it…

Okay, so One did have some good points…well one good point. I haven’t been completely honest, it’s more of a white lie.

I was, around 25 years ago, involved in a project based on trying to recreate the Mythical Pokémon, Mew. We accidentally created a failed prototype, which is, well, Ditto. We were trying to figure out to revive life, because…we had all lost someone. The idea was…more than appealing. We tried on a few different pokemon, the first starters, one human girl, but none were fruitful until Mewtwo.

Back then I was 20, still in my undergrad, on a summer research project with my uncle. I had little to do with the project, but I also didn’t speak up when I should’ve. While creating life was originally a selfless endeavor, as the project went on, we knew that we were causing harm to Mewtwo, we were aware. And we kept going. The idea of creating life was intoxicating.

And we did it. We finished the project. Mewtwo…ended up coming out very confused and destroying the Pokemon Mansion, where we conducted our research and many of the scientists.
