Loomy and I were attacked by a big ferocious dog this morning while doing our morning walk through the complex/subdivision. My pup bravely distracted the dog every time it came towards me minus the initial attack. We fought with the dog for 20-30 minutes before Carlos (a random person) came and tried to help. He was able to get Loomy and walked me and Loomy home while the big dog followed. The police and animal control caught the dog an hour later. That happened this morning. I still feel like I am in panic mode my chest is hurting, my body hurts, and I’m shaky. Loomy has no physical wounds or problems. It pisses me off that people allow their big dogs to just roam the street while all us little pup parents leash our furbabies. I am so thankful for my brave little guy.
