That feeling you get when you got new books again even though your TBR is enormous and you know you should feel bad but you feel great
REMEMBER WHEN, IN THE MIDST OF DRAGON SICKNESS, THORIN GAVE BILBO THE MOST VALUABLE, PRECIOUS THING HE OWNED
REMEMBER WHEN THEY WERE PREPARING FOR B ATTLE AND THORIN GAVE BILBO ARMOR THAT NO BLADE COULD PIERCE THROUGH TO KEEP HIM SAFE

Happy Birthday Harry Potter & J.K Rowling! You have taught me that our actions matter more than our circumstances, and that love is the greatest gift we can give to each other. Thank you for making me believe in magic 💛 //
Hey girl, hey. I've seen you tweeting a lot about Hilary and the presidential election, and I just wonder what your thoughts are on Hilary's shady past. Like her involvement in the emails. And I don't mean this to sound like I'm hating on your support of her, I'm just curious what your thoughts are. Because I want to believe that she'd be a good president (because girl power 🙌🏼), but she just kind of seems corrupt. (But not as bad as Trump. He's the WORST). PS ur books are AMAZING.
Good question! And you’re totally fine, no hate taken. :)
During the primaries, I was definitely a big Bernie fan and I’m glad he’s pushed Hillary and the campaign further left, not to mention brought a lot more attention to the race. I was hesitant to fully champion him because I didn’t see how some of his policies could actually get done. I was also hesitant to champion Hillary because she has a likability problem, not to mention the double anchors (in the eyes of the GOP and many voters) of her emails and Benghazi.
Since Hillary locked up the nomination, I’ve done more research into her history, her platform, not to mention I’ve done a lot of thinking about how women are portrayed and what is expected of them. Her public service is unparalleled, especially her work for women and children, not to mention the way she completely changed the role of the First Lady. As for her emails: yes, this is very worrisome, and I think a partial factor is simply changing times. Many, many career politicians have no idea what they’re doing with computers. Many, many career politicians also have very damning things on their computers. Like everyone, I’m still waiting to see how this shakes out.
Regarding the “corrupt” or “more of the same” or “political insider” or other similar accusations thrown at her: I think one can argue that very few men and no women have come so far as Hillary Clinton in American politics. Unfortunately for a woman, that means playing the game. Working the system. A female Bernie would never be in position to successfully run for a party nomination. Maybe NOW that Hillary has broken that glass ceiling, but the first female major party candidate was never going to be an off-the-wall maverick. It would never be (Massachusett’s own) Elizabeth Warren.I like her work ethic. I like her anger. I really like that she is what many people would call a bitch. To quote Tina Fey “bitches get stuff done.” She has plans, she has policies, she’s willing to work and cross the aisle and compromise. I think she’s absolutely prepared to be president and I thinks he also knows how to delegate. I love that she is going to protect LGBT rights and women’s rights and the rights of people who look or worship differently than the so-called “norm.” And yes, I love that she’s a woman. I love that little girls (and old women) get to see another woman leading a major party. And she is not Trump, who I don’t have the time or energy to discuss.

“In that moment, Blue was a little in love with all of them. Their magic. Their quest. Their awfulness and strangeness. Her raven boys.”
Thank you so much for @g4nseyiii ’s wonderful blog for getting me trapped in this mess.
PS I apologize for the terrible quality
