Haven played the soul games but one of my friends has told me a lot of the lore and it sounds so interesting

If I had to pick a game I've played I would say little nightmares, the nomes, the residents, so much cool stuff in those games

Not to reinvent the wheel over here but humanity is sooo right about tea. It really is the perfect finnicky little thing to do. You can use it as an excuse to get up and transition to the next thing for yourself or with others; you can use tea as the centerpiece for socializing; you can use it as a meditative device or a comfort ritual or as medicine or to soothe pain or to set intentions or go to bed or to wake up. And most tea is pretty inexpensive, healthy and sometimes you can just harvest the ingredients yourself. And there's a set amount of time it takes to heat up the water and prepare your cup and let it steep, which is all part of a ritual that makes it fast but not instantaneous which is. Good.

honestly I'm kinda fascinated by the nebulous sorta (heavy on sorta) canon timeline/setting that a huge chuck of batfam fanfic uses. Just they are all vibing in a hazy pre N52 post red robin space. Cataclysm/No Man's land has dubiously happened. The past decade plus of lore and development largely has not. Jason is somehow reconnecting with his family against his will (or not). Damian is still like 10 years old. Tim is dealer's choice. Dick is in Gotham far too much for a Bloodhaven based hero but not often enough for his weird bond with Bruce and brothers (who are bruce's kids). Babs is oracle. Cass is Black Bat. Steph is Spoiler (I guess no one is batgirl? The literal opposite of them all being Batgirl a la canon). Duke is rarely present (side effect of being stuck in 2012 or racism--you decide). It's a cluster fuck and it has such a hold on me

and, look, I don't have a complete grasp on batman/dc current canon and old lore, but this one variation feels so ubiquitous its crazy
