Allen was polite enough ( most of the time ) not to enter his room without knocking. It wasn’t very often Lavi was at home either, with jobs and boyfriend and several books to read still, so really, he could kind of understand. He did think he was alone though, last time he checked, last time he actually got home and Allen wasn’t there. It would have been fine, it was fine up until his door was swung open and there was a small boy with blue hair staring at him and next thing he knows, the boy is running away, face about as red as his own.
So, really, it’s not like it was his fault, though if Allen ever found out about this, he would probably get kicked out– or worse. When all’s done and they’re finally alone ( which, quite honestly, Lavi didn’t want to be, not in such awkward situation ), the Junior finds himself speechless for the first time in a long time. It’s not a situation he’s acquainted with, not a situation he wanted to be acquainted with, and really, he doesn’t even know who this kid is. All that gives away were the clothes he wore.
The same black, dark clothes he hasn’t worn in a long time.
❝ Y-Yeah, that’s me… ❞ Allen-no-anchan? Sure, he had heard of the mission in Paris and the supposedly new exorcist, but he hadn’t expected it to be a child, let alone one who called Allen “anchan”. ❝ Lavi’s the name. I’m, uh, a Bookman too. ❞ Which was a weird thing to say ( reminds him too much of home, of obligations ), despite his doubt the kid even knew what that meant. ❝ Yer the new exorcist, right? Don’t think I ever caught yer name either. ❞ He should probably apologize about what just happened but– that was too hard to bring up. Maybe avoiding eye contact for now was the best option.
