Will knows that he has said powers and here is a crazy theory but stick with me HERA KNOWS TOO
Like when he was 8 years old and he accidentally used his healing powers to heal someone then monsters came after him and he pulverized them with his light powers.
Hera saw it from Olympus and was impressed but worried because she thought Will’s father, Apollo would take advantage of his powers and use him (before ToN because Apollo was a bit spoiled before then)
She went to a God (most likely Hecate or a god of potions idk) and got some potions meant for Will and Apollo
When she went back to Olympus just what she expected had happened Apollo found out about his son’s powers as for the rest of the Gods so she wiped apollo’s memories (with a potion) and made the Gods swear they wouldn’t utter a word of William Andrew Solace powers she told the dangers and they all agreed
Now, Will was at CHB because a satyr rescued him because that's what satyrs do and he had a dream and Hera paid him a visit.
Hera told him the extent of his powers and gave him a vial or potion idk and offered it to him it was to lessen his powers and he took it
BUT
It only lasts until he turns 16
He only had powers that wasn't related to light bending like healing but somehow he still had his glow
Only Kayla Knowles, his half-sister, knows about this
Not even Nico di Angelo the only thing he knows is Will’s glow not the story behind it.
Not even Apollo in the body of Lester Popalopodus (or whatever his last name is spelt idk lol)
In ToN the reason he was so anxious about his glow was that he was nearly 16 and was scared his powers would show up early (it didn’t btw)
He was supposed to be one of the seven but Hera changed her mind in fear of what Apollo might do if he found out Hera’s secret.
He is one of the most powerful children of Apollo (Demigod at least)
In the upcoming solangelo book (i hope) the POV’s will be from Will’s as well as Nico’s (Maybe even Rachel’s POV) so yes we can explore solangelo but Will’s Powers as well.
Maybe some angst between Will and Nico? I need the TEA
