Time for mom boops-
“…” It shouldn’t bother them.
They are not the [ Enkidu ] she knows, after all.
Yet the feeling rankles them. This feels wrong. “It is not my decision whether or not I feel upset by it or not.” Enkidu says finally, returning to tearing the cake to hunks, but with less enthusiasm before. Ashy. That’s what it tasted like now. “You answered the call on your own volition.”
"I did. I could hardly ignore a call to assist the humanity I so passionately spoke of." The mixed feelings of this current existence was one that only her fellow servants also living through it could really understand. It was a very strange life but it was hers.
"My only hope was that if we should find each other I'd be able to let you know I received your blessings. Every one." As well as learned of the final moments of anger they'd held, though she was still hesitant to speak of that. Fear that some resentment was left festering beneath the surface wasn't so easily ignored.
Give them a minute –
Finally some some semblance of humanity returns to Enkidu, and they reach up to brush the crumbs off their face. “Mm, thank you.” There’s the words. Reflective eyes fade a little, looking at Shamhat. “So… you are here as well.”
"I am here. I hope that such a discovery isn't an upsetting one?" It was something that did worry her when she was first called upon, a small fear weighing her heart.
Quick as lightning, Enkidu snatches a thick slice of butter cake from Shamhat’s hands and start tearing it into hunks, shoving a big piece into their mouth. Delicious!
Feral and adorable, her dear one. "There is also drink for you to indulge in so your mouth won't feel dry from the sweetness."

Holds up butter cakes and candied apples
Butter cake…
Carefully, Enkidu reaches out for the sweets.
There's plenty for them to indulge in at this time.

Nonsense – they can keep it contained, if necessary.
Yes, if necessary. What she is sure of is their own interpretations of it.

They cannot hide from her gaze. Ever.
The implications of her status and act of seducing Enkidu are often the main focal point of Shamhat's part within the grand scheme of the story. Yes, her status as a lover of Enkidu can be viewed as very important but there were other sides to her beyond just that. The action that she took to coax Enkidu to civilization was introducing them to the ways of their society and ways of life. Had she not shared her culture with them they'd have remained a beast, and her assigned task would have ended in a failure. One must learn to think like a human being and must learn to think like a member of society. Enkidu may have acquired human language and a capacity for reflection at first, but they were still stuck in the world of animals thinking only in terms of challenging rivals and locking horns. She had to guide them away from such thoughts by talking of the city and what place they might find within it's walls. Becoming their caretaker, stepping into the role of a mother figure she truly led them into the ways of men.
Bites her hand in lieu of a proper greeting. Momther.

"Hello dear one. Too lazy to give proper greetings today or did the excitement of seeing me overcome your senses?" Raising the hand that hadn't been captured she affectionately pats their head. This troublesome child.
"Shall I spend the day at your side?"
Shamhat seduces Enkidu, they have sex for a week, and Shamhat invites Enkidu to come to Uruk. The two of them then talk about Gilgamesh and his prophetic dreams. Then, it turns out, they had sex for another week, and Shamhat again invites Enkidu to Uruk. The first time that Shamhat invites Enkidu to Uruk, she describes Gilgamesh as a hero of great strength, comparing him to a wild bull. Enkidu replies that he will indeed come to Uruk, but not to befriend Gilgamesh: he will challenge him and usurp his power. Shamhat is dismayed, urging Enkidu to forget his plan, and instead describes the pleasures of city life: music, parties and beautiful women After they have sex for a second week, Shamhat invites Enkidu to Uruk again, but with a different emphasis. This time she dwells not on the king’s bullish strength, but on Uruk’s civic life: ‘Where men are engaged in labours of skill, you, too, like a true man, will make a place for yourself.’ Shamhat tells Enkidu that he is to integrate himself in society and find his place within a wider social fabric. Enkidu agrees: ‘the woman’s counsel struck home in his heart’.
Shamhat: Gilgamesh is strong and heroic, impressive to behold Enkidu: I'm gonna beat his ass Shamhat: ... ...no-
"Have you enjoyed your stay in Uruk so far?" Siduri set down a cup of ale, sliding it closer. "You seem to be."
for @administrationaid
"It is as enjoyable as ever." Accepting the ale with a grateful smile she takes a careful sip before continuing.
"How could anyone not enjoy the sights and company found within the walls? There are hardly enough hours in the day to truly take it all in."
@administrationaid replied to your post “"Any and all Enkidu require a wide space before...”:
Tiredly remembers the expense reports for repairing Uruk every time they and the king fought.
And for such she is owed much praise and worship. Her collection of home brewed beers is always open for selection.
"Any and all Enkidu require a wide space before they are allowed to let loose. I stated it once and I will say it again; I felt as if the World was born seven times and destroyed seven times when I witnessed their fight."
"Think of what level of devastation that is."
