Lilium catesbaei, the Pine Lily, is native to the southeast. This part of the world truly has some beautiful plants to offer. One stark difference I have noticed between the east and west United States is that there are plants in bloom in late summer when out west everything is dry and crispy this time of year. Who would have thought you could see stunning wildflowers all year?
