Earlier in July we drove down to Tijuana to play a free show at a small club called Wherehouse. Around 3am we played out on the club's open air dance floor for a crowd of what felt like all friends. It was warm and people danced.

We made this video with our good friend and collaborator Daniel Pappas. He and our other friend Nick Walker have directed all the videos for our album, but for this one Nick was in Jamaica, so Dan took the helm by himself. Here, the ghost of an aspiring actress (played by Dasha Nekrasov) floats though Hollywood purgatory seeking her final peace.

We are all very interested in the contrast between the different parts of Los Angeles, and wanted to use this video to dig deeper into the misery of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We shot this entirely with iPhones over the course of one day in December. Shooting with iPhones is great because the cameras on them look good and you’ll rarely get asked if you have a permit.
