I want to make this short...🤔 I can't remember how many times I have made a post and deleted it before posting... I pray this won't be one of them... (Okay Virgil, focus 😕, you're blabbing 🙄). I am slowly learning a lesson that should have been easier for a 10 year old. A lesson that "you CANNOT force a seed to germinate before its time, except you just need the leaves and are uninterested in its fruits" 😏. PS: I literally watched a maize field harvested before my eyes, and I can still remember mourning the bush clearing phase. (My veranda overlooks an empty plot).👌😊 The morning bird chirping I enjoyed was about to be over, and the feeling just wasn't right😢. I watched one man (and I mean single handedly) harvest Cassava, clear a plot of bush land, plant corn seeds, weed the field weeks later, and that was it. MOTHER NATURE handled the rest. 🤗 Now while he handled his business in the sun, I couldn't help but wonder how much maize that plot could possibly produce, and how little we appreciate farmers. Fast forward to couple of months later, the farmer resurfaces with 2 other people... 💯😏 HARVEST BEGAN. 😋 I realized how much maize was possible from such a small field, and I was amazed at how much I had lost in chasing quick money between his land clearing phase and the harvest phase 😢😢😢. (About $1,500.😡) You see, I believe in seeking out extra means of passive income, but I began to see how foolish it was, trying to jump the process of acquiring all the necessary information needed to ensure the venture was a success. 🤔 I quickly remembered an advice from a loved one that said... "Virgil, cash is king... Slow down and save first. This way, when a worthy opportunity comes along, you will be able to take due advantage. 😢 Man's not patient 🙄. Man's gotta learn from Mother Nature... Man's gotta be like the wise farmer 😏. In fact, man studied Agricultural Science and made a 2:1😢... Man's gotta grow up and be patient. I hope this rant gave you some sort of value? I just had to get this outta my mind. I let me down so much, am beginning to suspect myself... #selfsabotage is real people. Okay, bye😟😤😔.
