TWELVETEN'S HAZE SUPPORTED BY DJ ANDY WARD IN VOCAL BOOTH RADIO SHOW

TwelveTen's Haze, recently released on Warehouse Decay Recordings has gained further support from Andy Ward on his Vocal Booth Radio Show.

Andy Ward is a DJ and producer DJ from Birmingham, UK and has played at clubs such as Cream, Love to Be, Basics, Miss Moneypenny's, Garage City and Soul Heaven, where he is currently DJing in Ibiza. He has hosted radio shows on Choice FM/Galaxy in Birmingham. He also enjoyed phenomenal success as one half of chart topping duo Soul Central, covering the classic "Strings for Life" out on Defected.

In 1995 he was hailed by Mixmag as one of ten new talents to watch out for, alongside the likes of Tony de Vit, Elliot Eastwick & Gayle San.

This is TwelveTen's latest track - finished in Ableton. Unmastered as yet but thought it would be good to put up a preview on Soundcloud.. Difficult to fit this one into a specific genre - influenced by deep tech house and a bit of progressive house. Also a bit of breakbeat thrown in! Any comments welcome as usual. Cheers!

TWELVETEN - PHYSICAL FOCUS: OUT NOW ON WAREHOUSE DECAY RECORDINGS

Here is a preview of Physical Focus from the Haze EP, from producer TwelveTen. This is a deep house track, and available now to buy from Juno Download and Bandcamp..

The track has recieved solid support from DJ Brett Gould (Toolroom, Grin, Glasgow Underground), Chamboche, Mark Ryan (Amazing Beats Radio), Kinetic London, Bluetown Electronica (Sheppy FM) amongst others.

PRESS RELEASE: ‘Haze’ sees Muzik Magazine’s former Bedroom Bedlam runner-up Tom Hughes turn in his debut EP as TwelveTen. He began DJing during the nineties culminating in regular successful nights in and around Leeds, Chester and Liverpool, UK before problems with Tinnitus meant he had to take a sidestep from DJing. Tom has spent the last decade focusing on his career, whilst devoting any spare time to honing his production work as TwelveTen. Through years dedicated to dance music, Tom has seen his styles develop from heavier styles to the more progressive sounds (a la John Digweed). Whilst living in Leeds he became a regular at Basics, which got him into the Deep House scene and he has been hooked ever since. The TwelveTen studio sound is rooted in Deep and Tech House, with the Haze EP serving as the perfect introduction. The title track is a dubby number with deep pads, vocal hooks and a looping percussive rhythm. ‘Physical Focus’ is a little more melodic with its warm arrangement of organ stabs, whilst further expanding the themes laid out in ‘Haze’.     credits:
