honestly? no I’m not totally sure what you’re talking about though I did google it a bit. Okay sure there is some white genocide, but the differences to other races is uncontested and I am mostly talking about western culture

No. No buts. They face oppression, they face extermination, they face slavery, and rape, and extortion. Just like all the other races. Whites have been enslaved, tortured, invaded, rape, pillaged, plundered, and so on. And Zimbabwe isn’t the only instance. Pushing that aside for your narrative is foul.

No. I cannot accept they experienced less due to their skin tone, because slavery wasn’t really about skin until it hit the americas which was not long ago.

It was about who was the loser, which white people and black people were both losers to other white and black people. In fact blacks had enslaved blacks for centuries and then decided to sell them to whites.

And there have been enough “white” wars I’d say whites have exeperienced plenty.

They treated black people as slaves because they were sold to them as slaves, by other black people. They didn’t run over to Africa and go, “Oh man, these lil guys are darkies, must be slaves.” And white slaves were a thing. A lot. Often. And still.

Why do people act like the slavery that happened in the US is the only slavery to ever occur? One tiny little blip out of all of human history and that’s the end all be all of slavery? Slavery itself isn’t about skin color, it’s about money, extortion, power. Always has been, always will be. 

I mean the whole way we get the word “slave” is from the Slavs, who are pretty white looking to me. They were targeted because it was easy for the Arabs. Same with the African slaves. There was a ton of money in that, and during the transatlantic slave trade, more African slaves went to Muslim countries than across the Atlantic.

Yet that 1.6% of all the people in the US at the height of slavery dictates everything about slavery? And out of the 12 millions Africans taken across the Atlantic, only 300,000 even made it to the US, and yet the US is the sole focus on slavery? 

While there are between 25-45 million people enslaved in the world today, that has absolutely jack shit to do with skin color, people are too focused on a blip in history to pay attention to anything else?

The new writing staff of Rick and Morty is not only keeping the previous two seasons in mind with its script building, but they are also just wrecking shop with these episodes.

Dr. Wong’s monologue. The casualness of Morty knowing just what Rick does when black out drunk, and how it’s almost a throw away concept (but it’s not! It sticks the landing and is so fucking good!) The whole Summer visiting Jerry thing after becoming her mother in a round about way. This season is kicking ass and taking names and I am SO on board.
