5e Playable Race Series: Warforged
Warforged are a race of magical androids.
They come from the magicpunk Eberron setting, soldiers built to fight in a conflict called the Last War. After the armistice, they had to find a new purpose for existence.
For my own games, I like to use them to model any sort of sentient construct or golem character.

cover designs for some notebooks i made a while back! you can buy them here :>
From the sketchbook- six characters from “The Vaults of Ghola”, a horror megadungeon I’ll probably never run.
Anya, the tragic zombie warrior princess; Ibn, the bug-worshipping turncloak; Giano the Immortal, undead commander; Reynaud, the Knight Who Contains Multitudes; and Tallest, once a cheiftain of the Southern Bush Halflings, and now something else entirely.

You play D&D? I seriously doubt that. I bet you don't even know what dice are.
Wait wait wait so you’re telling me
That these things aren’t elaborately shaped slightly mathematical candies?
I’m still gunna check
shit
AS WE ALL KNOW, WE WOMEN CANNOT UNDERSTAND COMPLICATED THINGS LIKE DICE
ONLY MANLY MEN KNOW WHAT DICE ARE
SOME OF THEM HAVE AS MANY AS TWENTY SIDES. HOW CAN WE UNDERSTAND TWENTY SIDES?
twenty sides and not one single one is a stove or ironing board
This is amazing
The fact that this post is still alive and kicking is hysterical
Thank you all for not being that asshole.
Yeah. I have a d20 tattoo, and some guys see it, then immediately demand proof that I actually play tabletop games (or even know what they are).
Because clearly there’s another reason for having an icosahedron with numbered sides permanently inked on your body.
I guess you could be really really into geometric shapes

A small nostalgia kick has my flipping through a PDF of D&D Essentials. It’s been a long time since I’ve played 4th Edition, but man there was some fun stuff hiding in here.
I could be talked into running a short Essentials campaign sometime in the future. Just saying.
I love these books. I learned to play and DM with 4e.
I’d totally play in a game set in the Nentir Vale again. Many good times!
My first D&D was 4e, and I’ll never forget all of the great times my players and I had.
Despite all of the shit we got for it, it was a fine game, and I’d mess around with it again.
