@do-whatfeelsgoood
so many years of education yet nobody ever taught us how to love ourselves and why its so important
 As a teacher this really speaks out to me, going to try and teach my kids this. (via itcuddles)
Please do yourself a favour. Donât lower your standards to fit in. Donât shrink who you are to make others feel comfortable. Do find and surround yourself with people who like you just the way you are and who encourage you to keep growing.

Summer is coming where I live and I would love it if you gave me some ideas on what should I do? I know I will work for a month but still want to do fun things while working so I can have great memories. Please don't say go on adventures because that such a broad recommendation, so please please be more specific. I haven't really done anything adventorous in such a long time I've lost the feel of it haha:) anyway have a great great day! xx
Okay well Iâm a very repetitive person so this might be boring to you but my summers look like this-
I spend a lot of time at work because summer is the busiest time for us. I wake up and usually go for a swim first thing in the morning. If Iâm in the water by 7, I can play for half an hour and still have time to shower and have breakfast before work at 9. When I finish at 5:30, itâs straight to the beach with a book and thatâs usually where I am for the next 2 hours. I head home, have some food and then dash again to watch the sunset.
On days that Iâm not working, I go to beaches further away. I take an umbrella, food and sunscreen and spend the whole day there, reading, napping, swimming and listening to music. If the weather is way too hot or maybe not hot enough, Iâll go thrift shopping. In the evenings, I usually go for a 1-2 hour bike ride along the water (or anywhere really if you arenât near the ocean, the suburbs look different by bike). I climb the hills that I think will give me the best view of the sunset. I spend more time than most people would, watching the ripples that my toes make in the water. I take photos of anything and everything that makes me feel something. I feel a lot of things. I make playlists and I discover new songs and I choose the moments that I want them to remind me of. I go to my friends house. They have trees and a cow and a kangaroo and they still watch video tapes and have an amazing record collection. We drink a lot of tea. We watch the stars. We laugh. We take funny photos. We reminisce. I watch the light filter through the leaves. I watch everything turn to gold. I float and I let the waves rock me enough that when I lie down to sleep, I can still feel it. I spend hardly any time cooking because I just want to be back outside. I donât plan for the future, I do whatever I want to do right then and there because summer is all I need.
I realize that this is all about me but I can only tell you what I fill my days with because I have no idea what you might like to do. These things all make my heart feel very very full; so full it might burst. Hopefully you are able to find the things that make yours feel the same :) xx

I had a dream I was nicki minajs stylist and we were picking out purses and she wanted to choose an ugly one and I told her straight up it was ugly and I was scared for a second but she thanked me for being real
house arrest wouldnât even be a punishment for me
