Okay so like Mr. And Miss Wonderful is kind of like the Huggys, but is a rejected toy/bigger body, and is more like a small cash grab/repeat since Playtime Co is a failing company and what do failing companies do??? Make more BULLL!!!! (They completely failed and where only made bigger body or tired to make bigger bodyed because of the PlayCare)

One reason why McBushpig was made is because like.. Miss Wonderful is hella aggressive, like how they did with Mommy Long Legs and Huggy, but she didn't like him at ALL and ripped his jaw off completely (poor dude literally), and was the first one to get in storage 🥹🫶🏾.... Giblet found him after The Hour of Joy and took him in with Doey, and he just followed him everywhere. GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ahem... Whoa the wind is STRONG!!!

I need to learn how to draw Giblet because HOLY DETAIL he's such a cool character too....

MASSIVE cornplate moment incoming but i just noticed the first couple seconds of "wrongside out" by cg5 and "are we truly alone?" from chapter 3, which plays when poppy mentions that ollie was the reason she found the player, sound extremely similar... which makes me think "are we truly alone" is possibly meant to be ollie's motif 👀

My idea of this piece is the prototype being taken outside after defeat, seeing sunlight and grass for the first time in decades…The blue butterfly landing on him symbolizes rebirth, freedom, and farewell 😢

The broken past made him the villain of the story, spreading hatred at the world. He can’t turn back, he could only live in the shadow he had reshaped by himself. Now everything is over... In the sunlight, this decaying body blooms with flowers. Ollie, you've done so much—now it's time to rest.

How is Ollie getting along with the others besides Poppy and CatNap? I know his relationship between him and the player is probably… tense, but does he warm up to them eventually?

Heh, actually him and "the player" get along fairly well :P

In my au, there isn't actually the player as we have them in the game. The player consists of three people: Lucas, Mara/Guardian (my silly OCs) and Susan Ayers. I will explore Susan and Oliver's relationship a bit later, so now I'm gonna focus on the other two.

Lucas is a huuuuuge engineering nerd, he helped Ollie repair his arms... Err, arm, as only one survived the fire. He built the other one and chatted with Ollie a lot while the kid recovered. They also bond over having a murder record haha...

Mara, the shadow from another world, is the one who dragged Ollie out of the collapsing factory. She's his healer (I refuse to say "doctor" lmao, NO doctors allowed!), she watched over him while he was in recovery. He simply didn't trust anyone else. This girl at least saved his life and fixed his wounds. Maybe she can be trusted. Maybe. A sympathetic little alien who took everyone to safety.

Bonus points for both Mara and Lu being technically immortal. Mara has the lifespan of a star and Lu is made of regenerative fungus. So yeah, they are a kind of comfort for Ollie. Even if he never reconciles with Poppy or finds a way to make everyone immortal (there's a lot of talk about why this is unethical from Mara), eternity won't be lonely for him.

Of course their relationship wasn't very amicable at first as Oliver was on guard all the time, expecting everyone to trick or hurt him 😞 buuut he learnt to at least somewhat trust them quite soon when he realized they didn't want to hurt him

Yo, I have a few sneak peeks!

I reeeeaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyy wish I could post the full wips, but it'd ruin the surprise! This second entry's taking longer than I thought (mostly 'cause I either forgot something, got hung up, or f-cked up....painting is fun). As for Pride Ollie down there, he ended up in a spot where he could see the drawing. I mostly refer to that and the 3d model on SketchFab so I can make sure I have his coat right (clothes are my biggest bane, and his is f-cking confusing!).

But yeah, as you can see, Ollie's big mad about getting a variety of bird bodies. Will he enjoy it later? Not a clue. I do have a specific bird in mind for him though, long before I decided to try and draw humanoids again. I've avoided drawing them because I've always had a tough time getting the anatomy right, so my focus became birds after I got my first chicken. But now...holy crap! This is hella fun!
