They stripped us of our joy and love. We lost the light that had guided us before, the lantern that held a fire so bright and warm. I miss our past, a time of something simpler and easier to swallow than this bitter draught forced down our throats. I see them cry and scream and just, I can't protect them like I used to. My anger continues to bubble and swell like lava. But I can't do anything, nothing at all. I'm just the leftover ash of my past passion.

I'm so scared, I can't at all see the sunlight. I can't see the sun itself or the stars or the moon; not even the forest anymore. It's so dark and wet, every breath I take I hear tenfold, over and over against these rough walls.

Now that we're not alone, we will not die. We will stay alive and together. No more will they wander the lands, taking what is not theirs. A lesson of pain and battle will determine what they are allowed to keep. Just like what they put us through.

The sense to sense my life has left me. I do not, I will not regret my decision. To bite the hand that fed me and raised me back from a dying corpse, is too lose the trust of one's own God. I may have lost what was once held close to my heart, and my heart itself, but a new life stripped of joy is better than the silence of eternal death.

I was always strangled by those strings tied to my throat. Slowly, oh so slowly, they tightened them more, and more, until my heart would almost give out. And then they'd release me. "Be grateful for everything we've done for you."

They'd never let me actually tug those strings tighter. Squeeze the air from out my lungs and collapse my mind. Let me finish the job if they keep stopping. "What lies after, I would have better chances there than here." To stop thinking these thoughts and feelings and pain and I could finally be free.

But then They came. They showed me the right path. I will no longer crave death when they have such a beautiful idea that I can be a piece in. I am more now, more than any remnants of a past I do not see, I exist without them finally.

Some different kinds of baked potatoes. Rose hips taste surprisingly good when eaten with potatoes, did you know? I also plan to take some of the pork for Hibiscus, but doesn't everyone.

Ooh, what does it taste like? I've never had a rose hip, but I'm guessing it comes from roses.

Maybe like a stew! I enjoy trying to make a different food each week you see. They also had some cabbages and pork last time I went so maybe I'll even make cabbage rolls!

Some different kinds of baked potatoes. Rose hips taste surprisingly good when eaten with potatoes, did you know? I also plan to take some of the pork for Hibiscus, but doesn't everyone.
