Stark - started college at 14 (1993)

Graduates (1997) (18yo) and starts post-graduate, in his 4 yr in 2000(21yo) (fall semester)

Grace - started college at 16 (1997)

Senior in 2000 (19) (fall semester)

Met fall semester 2000

Hashtag college situationship

After graduation Grace didn’t hear from Stark again 😔 (idk what happened yet but it’s ok bc Grace doesn’t either)

2009

- Grace gets kicked out of academia and becomes a teacher (28 yo)

2011

- Grace gets recruited to Project Hail Mary (30 yo)

2013

- events of Iron Man 1 (34 yo)

- the Hail Mary launches during those 3 months (32 yo)

2016

- Iron Man 2

- Thor 1

2017

- The Avengers

- Bifrost is restored (yayyy)

- Astrophage aftecting Asgard for some reason (it’s the mcu, logic doesn’t matter that much)

- Thor Bifrosts the Hail Mary to Tau Ceti and just leaves it

HEAR ME OUT

So guys I just watched La La Land last night right and as any normal person does I go onto Ao3 in search of a fix-it fic. I type in ‘La La Land’ in the fandoms branch, and BOOM, first thing I see: Ryland Grace/Sebastian Wilder. I’m like, ‘Dr Grace?? What are you doing here???’ And then I realize that they’re both played by the great Ryan Gosling. I then think, “oh, who else is Grace shipped with?” I type ‘Ryland Grace’ into the relationships bar. TONY FUCKING STARK shows up. I’m like, ‘Mr Stark??? Aren’t you supposed to be dead??’ At this point I have no idea what’s going on anymore

And then I click on the tag and click search. PETER PARKER??? And I’m like, why is this kid here? And I look in the summaries of every single fic with this ship and it revolves around the concept of ‘Grace is Peter’s science teacher and Peter is legally adopted by Tony Stark, so they have a parent-teacher meeting and we and Peter find out that Grace and Tony are exes’. Now, I dunno about you, but that is an EPIC storyline and ship that I am willing to get behind.

And also, I just had another great idea. What if, at the parent-teacher meeting, Rocky crashes it and is like, ‘Oh. Rocky not realize this is private meeting. This Grace mate?’ And Grace is like ‘NO no not Grace mate!! No no definitely not!’ While Tony is like ‘Oh yay an Eridian!! I haven’t seen one yet!!’ And Peter just looks at all of them like what the fuck have I gotten myself into but also in a mildly entertained way On another note, my mother (and my subconscious) believes I am failing math and so I must get back to my homework. Goodbye.

EDIT: The original maker of this ship was (according to my source on Ao3) a shadow in TikTok and I don’t have TikTok but I have to say, this person is a genius. And also apparently the name is actually ironfox or projectiron and ykw that works too (I still like ironstar as a name more but yall lmk)
