Trinity has this awful thing that happens when Dennis goes off to Amy’s where she convinces herself he got in a car accident on the way there, or he got there but ended up in a farm accident, and is lying somewhere mutilated and bleeding. 

The spirals consume her until she’s completely frozen, terrified that she’s right and Huckleberry’s dead. 

Sometimes Garcia is over and that works as a decent distraction. But most of the time she’s alone, going down the rabbit hole of losing another best friend.

So the spirals keep happening, and she tries one too many times to confide in Garcia, only to get shot down and told to go to therapy.

Which leaves her with her only logical solution.

Putting life360 on Huckleberry’s phone and getting him a fitbit that she has access to so when the spiral starts she can just check and see that his heart is beating and he's not dead in a ditch.

sometimes i think about trinity having a spare room in her apartment as a way to honor a promise that can never be fulfilled. maybe as little kids, trinity and her best friend swore they’d live together—from college to forever, even after they found their future partners and got married. maybe the second bedroom is trinity getting as close to realizing that as reality allows.

Pitt head canon question, at what point did Robby realize that Santos has a history of childhood sexual abuse? Because the way he tells her he can get Al-Hashimi to do the pelvic exam on the kid Santos is afraid is being abused really suggests that this is something he knows about Santos. I imagine they never spoke about it but there was a case where he saw how affected she was and she knew he understood why. I just love their relationship so much. Such a good mentor and mentee relationship. And I assume once she’s done with residency and an attending, santos and Robby are also chilling with beers after work.

meltos definitely do the three taps for I love you. it's easy, comforting, convenient. sometimes trinity's not so good at coughing up vulnerability like that. sometimes mel gets overwhelmed, goes nonverbal. so they learn to communicate that they still care, even silently, giving each other that reassurance.
