Oh im fucking sick to my stomach. Chill

funny little headcanon is that i believe if victoria ever came out to her mom that shamsi would be like 'okay, that's fine. but i still don't understand why you do not want to go into surgery. all the other gay women are in surgery; do you not want to be a gay surgeon like yolanda and emery? what about your lesbian friend trinity, doesn't she want to do surgery as well? you can do better victoria'
emery walsh meets her first wife, lacy, in her first year of undergrad at boston university. they date for years and then get married a month before they graduate and emery is deployed.
lacy is the perfect military wife. she has a job, calls emery whenever emery has a chance, and sends mail. but her deepest fear is that emery will not come home at all. she will never get the true domestic life she wants.
the day emery comes home is the happiest day of lacy's life. emery has ptsd and flashbacks and nightmares, but she is there for every moment. lacy rocks emery to sleep after nightmares, drives her to support group, calms her down during panic attacks, helps her study for the mcat, makes her a cake when she gets accepted into med school, and is perfectly happy to move to pennsylvania for upenn. emery is a planet, and lacy is the sun keeping her in orbit. life is good and domestic, and they live paycheck to paycheck but that's ok because at least they are together.
Iâm thinking about Ellis and Walsh watching Dr Garcia, the mean bossy lesbian who terrifies most residents at PTMC and has an absolutely insane RBFâŠ
absolutely fold like a lawn chair whenever trinity smiles at her
I know they donât give her a MOMENT of rest about how down bad she is for the snarky r2
happy pride month yolanda garcia

âIâm sorry that I called you trouble. Youâre not trouble.â Garcia looks at Trinity with a ferocity that is made gentle by the warmth of her brown eyes. âYouâre a good doctor, Santos.â
âThank you, Dr. Garcia,â Trinity says sincerely. âThat means a lot.â

Happy june 1st my fellow homosexuals let's start de gay agenda
the stupidest circle of hell is when you're like oh this ship is SO obviously supported by canon surely everyone must talk about it and then you find out the dedicated popular yaoi is some total bullshit
i think a big reason that the pittâs fan base is so upset with season two was because it set itself up so differently. it spent the previous 12 months as an ensemble show, one made up primarily of women, and hugely of woc. it won awards for its ensemble, it had one of the most beloved cast of characters on tv right now. and sure everyone had their personal dislikes in the cast, but there was someone for everyone.
the pitt season two took all of that goodwill, that huge, diverse, incredibly intelligent and kind audience, and instead of continuing to give them the stories they wanted - that the show promised in season one - once it grabbed their attention it directed 90% of it towards the white men.
i think if season one had been more robby focused, people wouldnât have been so disappointed by season two. but they also probably wouldâve had a smaller fandom.
âoh but robby was always the main character even back in season one, the show was always going to be about him! heâs always been the most important to the narrative!â if you genuinely believe this i have a beach to sell you. the show SAYS robby is the main character, and everyone took that at face. but the problem with a show trying to say something is that it doesnât matter if it doesnât back it up with on screen evidence. it spends so much time telling you to read between the lines and then gets surprised when people call out the sexism and racism.
i think to a lot of people they felt like their identity was leveraged for views, and once the show had the audience it wanted, it stopped focusing on them at all. and if your character is robby or langdon or whitaker then thereâs nothing wrong with that, but theyâre definitely not the reason that i watched the show iâll tell you that.
happy pride !! here is a garsantos kiss to celebrate <3
thinking about Ragtime again and how Coalhouse and Sarah (and Coalhouse III) are the only core characters to be identified by their names
