Every year during Memorial Day weekend I venture out to one of our numerous nearby National Cemeteries to take a few photos and contemplate. It is always a humbling experience, no matter how many times I do it. This year I visited Hampton National Cemetery, the final resting place for four Medal of Honor recipients.

So on this Memorial Day weekend enjoy the freedoms that we have. Sit back, relax, grill a few steaks, and watch the Indy 500.

But, just for a few moments please think about the hundreds of thousands of men and women that gave their lives to protect those freedoms. It’s the least we can do.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
