So I just remembered this from Goblet of Fire:

“Bold Gryffindor, from wild moor,

Fair Ravenclaw, from glen,

Sweet Hufflepuff, from valley broad,

Shrewd Slytherin, from fen.”

I reckon this means that the founders are from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland respectively, and so they are literally bringing wizards and witches from all over Great Britain. Also, their colours are the colours associated with each country; red for England, blue for Scotland, yellow for Wales and green for Ireland.

I’ve seen some people complaining about  Ultron making poor decisions or not thinking things through–for example, locking Natasha up with radio equipment.  This complaint, I think, misses part of the character’s core, namely:

Ultron is insane.

No, I mean it.  Ultron is a malfunctioning computer program warped and animated by extraterrestrial magic.  He is insane.  He is unstable.  He is irrational.  He doesn’t think things through, he makes mistakes, he waxes lyrical, he cracks jokes and goes on tangents because he gets distracted from what he’s supposed to be paying attention to.  He draws conclusions far afield from the information he’s been given.  Ultron’s mind is broken.  He is insane.

Just think about that the next time you wonder why he did something stupid.

ATTENTION PET OWNERS

This post is going to rushed but I’m still shaking and it’s hard to type but I NEED people to know this

My mom just took my dog to the vet She(my dog) was(still is?) having a seizure

Last month we took my dog to the vet and they told us she had developed diabetes, they told us it was caused by the food she was eating, purina beneful. They told us that there have been many many many reports of Beneful has been causing diabetes, seizures, and even death in dogs.

We had no idea

We immediately switched her food and put her on a special diet plan for her diabetes, unfortunately the effects were already permeate.

Today at 11:20 my mom woke me up crying, I helped her carry my dog to the car (while she was still having a seizure) and watched her drive away red faced and still crying.

Please please PLEASE if you are feeding your pets Purina beneful PLEASE switch their food ASAP Beneful is poising dogs and I don’t want anyone else to experience what I just did Also if you could please help me signal boost this so everyone can know

okay I feel like I'm the only person who knows that Mulan was a real person and not talked about enough

Her story goes mostly how the Disney version went, except she didn’t go to war as a quest for self-discovery or because she felt as though she couldn’t make her parents proud. The sole and only reason she disguised herself as a young man was to take her Father’s place in the war.

So when she told her parents that she wanted to this, they were like wtf no you’re a girl and it’s chaotic out there. And you know what she did? She put on male clothes and challenged her own Father to a duel. Her dad was like ‘who the hell are you’ but accepted. When Mulan won and revealed herself as his daughter, he was like wOAH okay you can go. Basically she made sure to get her parent’s consent before going, so not only are her parents awesome, she was decent enough to not leave them hanging for 12 years.

Yes, she was at war for 12 years, but she not in fact meet a handsome general. Instead she BECAMEa general. Eventually the war was won, and the Emperor was so impressed by her he wanted to wed the Princess to her. It was only then that she revealed she was in fact a woman. Then she accepted the rewards and went right back home to her normal life. 

There is now even a crater on Venus named after her.
