WE'RE GOING TO WATCH IT!!! But you know, of course everyone mad about this was going to watch anyway. It's about principle. It's about respect. So again, when you're shitting on the CW and saying it sucks, make it more about this shit right here, please. Kelly and Azie have been completely disrespected by this network and these writers but especially by this network since she got here.
the best thing about supergirl is every time i sit down to watch it i have no idea whether i'm going to get anti government agency kara, pro government kara, good journalist kara, bad journalist kara, 'my parents were good self sacrificing people' kara, 'my parents made mistakes but that doesn't reflect on me' kara, genius kryptonian kara or dumb jock kara. it truly is a lucky dip
I will say this until I die,
The strongest reason supercorp should be canon is that if Lena was a man, and literally nothing else in the show changed, it already fucking would be.
and I don't want to hear this bs about them not being gay because sexuality is fluid, you can be literally 80 before realizing you're gay, and yeah fuck off
Someone mentioned to me privately that this Kelly-centric episode could have been done - and perhaps better - while Kara was in the PZ.
Kara being a bad journalist so that she and Kelly could bond over prison hijinks wasn’t a worthwhile tradeoff, and considering the subject matter would be better with Kelly and J’onn at the center of it.
CWSG has occasionally alluded to - but never fully explored - how Kara’s experience as an alien on earth is uncommon in many ways. In the context of real world issues like the rampant racism and abuse in the privatized prison system, her ‘optimism’ comes across as ignorance of her own privilege. Kelly having life-changing realizations about her purpose in life didn’t need to share airtime with that.
Her lack of initiative to look harder at the warden using her for PR points isn’t charming or even understandable given what she was supposed to have learned in S4 about powerful government institutions - including the one she worked for - abusing their power and violently exploiting aliens.
We already know that Kara is going to keep being in the middle of stories like this later in S6. Will she eventually connect the dots?
Kara: words ending in "ie" are so cute! Like cutie, cookie, sweetie-
Lena: Die.
Kara: …
Here we go again…
I did that job once.
What are your pronouns and would you like to join my union
What an absolute queen
In honor of Janelle Monáe coming out I put together a lil graphic about bi & pan identities! This is based on my own experiences within the community as someone who uses both terms. It of course does not cover everything! Image description under the cut.
Note a very important part of this post:
“I am more comfortable with the term [bi/pan].”
No bigger reason than that is needed to identify with one term and not the other.
When people tell you they are one but not the other, that is it.
You do not get to argue them using even the reasonable definitions.
Bi people can describe their attraction the way pansexuality/romanticism is defined above and pan people can describe their attraction the way bisexuality/romanticism is defined above and that does not mean they are wrong.
The only differences between bi and pan exists within the individuals who identify with one but not the other.
Jon Cryer finding some of the Supercorp fandoms bald Lena edits and showing it to the cast is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen aksdkjakaksk
PLS IM FRIENDS WITH THE GIRL WHO MADE THE EDITS AND THE ENTIRE CHAT WAS CRYING LAUGHING

Yall it keeps getting better 😭 The saga continues 😂
This will never be not funny
I really enjoyed Supergirl 6x08, and I'm trying to watch these last episodes with a "nostalgic" approach and just trying to enjoy these last few hours. And not to be that girl who always complains (oh god, am I turning into a Karen?), but the best think that Supergirl S6 has done yet in my book is giving William a girlfriend.
That said...now more that ever, what is even the point of him? Was it really necessary to introduce him as a character in season 5, instead of focusing on the other leads who were already well established? Maybe we could have had more focus on Kelly, or Nia and Brainy, who are more compelling and unique characters, but I guess we'll never know.🙃
Season 1 supergirl was just superior.
Re-blogging ‘cause I think everyone could use this at one point in there life or another.
Three times Kara was ready to risk it all, but change her mind in the last second.
No plssss i just watched the new spider-man trailer and all I saw was
