I mean, being kidnapped by a witch and held in her basement for four months is one thing, but now there's more supernatural stuff I have to deal with?" Tom sighed and ran a hand through his tousled locks. "I'm Tom. Considering the circumstances, it's still nice to meet you."

       Though, he wasn’t genuinely offended, which was obvious by the smirk plastered on his lips. He wasn’t about to whine over waffles. Now, if they had been the color blue, that would have been a different story altogether. Jason sat back in the seat, trying to get himself comfortable as he lazily slung an arm over the back of the chair, giving a yawn.

    Now that the waffles were safely returned to him, Tom felt more at ease. With a smirk, he rolled his eyes, grabbing his water to take a few gulps. "Yeah, but I care way too much about this food to share it."

     "Alright, I'm calling the waitress over, because clearly you have a hunger for blue food. But whatever you get, you owe me a bite."

       Jason picked up the fork and knife, cutting himself a piece of the waffle and popping it into his mouth. He chewed slowly, only to swallow moments later. So, the other male was right. They were good, though he wasn’t very surprised —— most waffles were, unless they were the kind that had to be put into a toaster.

     "Don't even think about it." Tom warned before watching the man chew, hazel eyes narrowing slightly. Jason liked them, he could tell, which meant that his plate was no longer safe. Reaching out, he quickly slid the plate back towards himself. "Like I said," Cutting a piece and popping it in his mouth, "They're delicious. Get your own."

       “I really am sorry about that. At least, you’ll get to live life now, and it          suck you’re getting thrown into this world, but might has well learn          how to survive it. Yeah, there’s a place called the grill that’s popular.          You were close, and I promise I’ll explain everything when we eat.”

     Don't just stand there like a confused idiot, Tom. Say something. "R-Right..." Okay, he was totally lost. "So if I'm a doppelganger to some dead old guy, does that make you one too? Because we both look exactly the same?"

        "- -I, uh..." How the hell was this even possible? They looked identical. Maybe this was like The Parent Trap, and Tom was about to find out about his long lost twin. "Wait, doppelwhat?"

   Tom nodded and slid his plate over, watching with expectant eyes. "If you like 'em, get your own." He was a nice person, but waffles were not something he'd share.
