In case the UK goes through with the age ban/ ID gate (or something else happens that means I can't access my social media):

If you haven't heard from me on here in a while, chances are high that I can't access my account, so here is a place people can contact me instead:

Because this is a public email just on my tumblr page for all to see, I might get a lot of spam, so responses might take a while.

But this is the only way I can think of potentially getting to talk to people if I can't use social media anymore because the companies want my ID to access it. I don't know what will happen with age verification, or how many websites will be affected. Or if it will even happen. so - this email is here just in case. (I figure emails are the last thing that will require an ID check, given how necessary emails are to function in every day society, even if you're not online). So if this doesn't work...I don't know a solution.

but to help me know who you are if you email me, tell me your tumblr name and give me some context clues about past interactions we've had!

Even if we've only spoken once, if we're mutuals or if we're not, everyone is welcome to email me if you want to stay in touch and I'm not around tumblr.

Just let me know who you are because it can be difficult to tell over email and I may assume its spam if I don't know who's talking to me. Give me context clues so I know you're not a bot.

But yeah! This is here just in case I get locked out of my account at any time, and you haven't heard from me in a while. (I just have to remember to check emails because I'm notorious at struggling to check them)

This is a bit of an experiment, I don't know how practical this is going to be. I might have to shut it down if it just gets full of spam and I can't deal with it. But it's the only solution I can think of at the moment (excluding a vpn, but also, that might be only a temporary option if they ID gate that too). I really really don't know what's going to happen, or what I'll end up doing about it. This is just. Here in case I get locked out and can't communicate with anyone to tell them how they can stay in contact with me.

Thinking about it...I personally find how charismatic I feel usually depends on if I'm around people who like me or not lol

Sometimes I feel like I'm doing allright and I get on with others really well - other times...oof. I am then suddenly brought back to earth and get a reality check.

-Which probably means my charisma is...at a guess...average? I think it varies.

But who knows, I've had people who's impressions of me have been warm and friendly, and other people who really don't like me. It seems to be a mixed bag. Same with many other qualities about myself.

I definitely grind some people's gears without even meaning to. It does happen and I'm learning more and more as time goes on, to be chill with that while also recognizing where I can improve. I think learning that not everyone is going to like you is an important social skill to learn (while also - not going to the other extreme and not caring about ruining other people's day. It's important to not to be an arsehole and try to be at least somewhat agreeable). I spent far too much of my childhood, teenage, and even early adult years trying to make myself be liked by everyone - which did not work, and was an impossible goal. NO ONE is going to be liked by everyone. There will be someone out there, who hates your guts -or doesn't even feel that strongly about you, they just don't want to interact. And that's fine. Being liked by everyone - it wasn't a good behaviour to aim towards. Making friends has often sucked because I would try so hard to be liked, while at the same time battling with the parts of myself that weren't so likable - or that I didn't like about myself. I think the more important thing is: 1) trying not to be a jerk and 2) find people who like you for you and if you have an awkward personality? That doesn't matter so much to them. People who find you charismatic in your own way and who you will FEEL charismatic around, lol (which, you know, feeling like you can overcome the most awkward of situations because your friends like you for you, is actually healthy in small doses).

Also, self acceptance and finding things to like about yourself, really helps. Rejection when it crops up, hurts less. I'm more able to look back with hindsight at some interaction I messed up and feel more secure about learning from it. I'm also more able to look back at other people's reactions and be like 'okay, that person was actually being a jerk, lets not interact with people like that instead of trying (and failing) to get along with them, trying to get along isn't actually helping anyone' or 'hey, actually I could have handled that situation better, that one was on me and I should try and do that more kindly in future,' or even a midway point of 'actually looking back on that interaction...we both fucked up. Maybe try that interaction again if the other person wants to? Or if they were a stranger, or the relationship is beyond repair, lets just go our separate ways '

Of course, I also had a go at making Amaliesal as a Para!

This is Amaliesal at the start of her dnd campaign. I accidentally gave her too much Winter Elf blue blush which doesn't show up as much on the paramaker, which is why I thought it was fine...until I got into live mode and realized it's a LOT more blue blush than I intended. I was going for just the slightest hint of blue, more of a shimmer of blue. I'll try and correct it later. Other than that, I think I did her proud. My entire thought process was just 'Lets make her pretty, lets make her hot'.

No elf ears sadly.

I have discovered limitations with the paralives height adjuster. This is the smallest I could make Frey :c And I couldn't make her neck or body any shorter either. No Halflings allowed, apparently.

She's such a cute though. The Paramaker is at least more Halfling-friendly than the create-a-sim.

The character creator takes some getting used to. I wish there were more options for eye sizing and forehead sizes, and a few other options are limited - but compared with the sims 4 on launch this is AMAZING

One day, maybe, my limbs will stop feeling like they're going to dissolve into static every so often every day.

-Or maybe not. Who knows.

But it would be nice to find out the cause. Getting pins and needles now and again is something I'm used to, but feeling fizzy and numb this often is something I've only been dealing with in the past few years and it would be great to find out why it's happening so often and from hardly doing anything to agitate it. -If my foot goes to sleep from sitting on it for a long time, that I can understand. That's normal. It happens.

But just leaning on it lightly for a few minutes? Why do my limbs feel like an old tv screen? Why do my feet, if I do sit on them for just 10 mins or so, feel like they don't have any bones and just flop about at the ankles when I try to use them, before eventually getting some feeling back and then they feel like they are full of angry bees?

It's wild. And I would like to find out why. It's a bit concerning. There's too many bees.
