When people try to argue against big tanks for Bettas because “their fish got stressed in a big tank” and they had their fish in something like this
When they should have been in something like this:
Bettas are not stressed by large tanks. They are stressed by too much open space. They come from large floodplains and rice paddies, that are thickly planted but can reach 5 feet deep, and several hundred kilometers long. It’s not that difficult to throw a bunch of plants into a tank. It’s neglect for self amusement if you house them incorrectly on purpose, instead of doing all you can to better them.
