An old painting of my dog. Painted this a few years ago. He could still see back then, I wonder if he liked it.
This is what he looks like now.

《DOG PERSONA|Mood|Small Red Nose》
In this piece, I combine layered papercut textures with marker‑drawn lines to shape a dog that is both representational and quietly symbolic. Its white body, brown‑black patches, and small red nose create a gentle presence within a clean, graphic composition—something attentive, curious, and quietly waiting.
Through the handmade edges, paper textures, and hand‑drawn marks, I aim to let this dog become a vessel for emotion. It is an animal, but also a companion; a figure, but also a projection of feeling.
Within my practice, it stands for a soft but persistent warmth—rooted in everyday life, small details, and the unspoken connection between humans and animals.
