Monthly Task - Monsters Inc. || Para between Louis Tomlinson & Zach Johnson || Status: In progress
He moved through the other male's home, making sure they had everything they'd need, space and propwise. Deciding there wasn't a whole lot he could do about it at this point anyway, Louis made his way to Zach's room, again letting himself in. The plan wasn't to alert Zach to the other male's presence. He was simply supposed to shock him into agreement. Picking up the sleeping male's phone, Louis checked the time before putting on his best announcer voice.
"Good morning, Detroit. It's now five after the hour of six a.m. in the big ol' city. Temperature's a comfortable -4 degrees, which is good news for the penguins of the world at least, and it looks like it's going to be a perfect day to maybe, hey, lay in bed, sleep in or maybe... work out that flab that's hanging over the bed. Get up, Zach!" By this point, Louis' voice had raised well above a casual conversation tone and he'd been toying with his iPhone's sound effects, blaring his air horn app right beside Zach's ear to see if he'd wake up.
It was an icy morning in Detroit, and considering Zach had been up half the night taking shots, and pretty much getting high -- he felt it was the best to just stay in bed under his blanket and get comfortable for the day. There wasn't much going on for the day, and he figured if he didn't have to get up, he'd focus all his attention on sleeping through his hangover. The sun peeked through his window, shining over the screamer's eyes causing him to pull the blanket over his face attempting to block it out. He began to get far more comfortable than expected, and was in a half awake state when he thought he dreamed of his bedroom door opening. Suddenly, much to his dismay, Louis began yelling over him trying to sound like an announcer at a stadium of some kind. It made his body jolt a bit, almost completely off the bed. So close to falling back asleep, and now that was all cancelled out.
When the air horn began blaring into Zach's ear, he quickly turned himself over and almost slapped Louis' phone out of his hands and onto the floor. The screamer just looked at his friend for a moment, with the deadliest glare. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?" The death glare continued as Zach tried to pull the blanket back over his body, shaking his had at the other while patting his body pillow. "If you think I'm working out at six a.m., you've got another thing coming, dude." He tried to get that out in the scariest tone of voice he could muster up, but he was sure it didn't work out that well. You could tell the older male was not even close to in the mood to do whatever Lou had planned for the day.
As soon as he heard the other male's words, Louis made it a point to move out of his reach, not honestly sure that Zach wouldn't hurt him for this. It was clear the older was trying his hardest to be scary and intimidating, but it wasn't working out so well, either because it was too early or because Lou actually had some sort of exemption card, but the vocalist seriously doubted that. Once Zach had buried himself back under his blankets, Louis moved to the end of the bed and pulled the blankets off, throwing them aside.
"I promised I'd help. This is helping, mate. I could've come around at 6 like the lads do for out football practices but I was nice and let you sleep in," he said, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked down at the screamer. "Cmon, just a half hour. I'll even make you a hangover-friendly breakfast," he offered. He knew very well that Zach wasn't in the mood to deal with this but part of getting into a healthy routine was getting up even when you least felt like it. He couldn't keep letting Zach get away with the 'we can start tomorrow' game. "You do want this, don't you?" he asked, though he'd previously give the other a dozen chances to decide he didn't want to go through with is. He was a little bit afraid of pushing too far and losing a friend over the whole ordeal but this wasn't grade school. The other would get over it. Even thinking about the possibility got Louis' nerves going and he silently pleaded for Zach to just get up so that he could step into another room and take his pills.
Once the blanket was ripped off his body and pretty much thrown onto the floor, Zach had to sit up. It wasn't something he wanted to do, but he finally gave in to the other vocalist's persistence. "Yeah but you could've given me a warning or something," he stated in a very groggy tone before letting his feed hang off the side of the bed. "Is that hangover friendly breakfast before or after my ass dies from this?" he questioned, getting a little irritated with himself. He knew he had to do this to feel more confident about his overall image, but it was hard for him. He didn't want to look in a mirror and disapprove of what he saw anymore, he wanted something better. The lack of motivation was making it hard for him, the lack of energy made it even harder.
"I want it, yes, it's just..." he trailed off, slapping his palms over his face and rubbing some. "Lou this is, harder than I thought and we haven't even started yet," he admitted taking a deep breath, running his fingers through a few strands of his hair. He looked over at the other male, and then looked at the door trying to find the energy to get up and get started with it all. "I want this, but I don't want to do this, and I know it's the only way, fuck." He wasn't happy about any of this at all. He just sat there at the edge of the bed for a moment, contemplating how to get himself to cooperate with the entire situation.
A wave of relief washed over the vocalist as the other began to cooperate and he smiled and clapped his hands together. "Warning would have given you time to hide the key," he stated, smirk still on his lips. "Breakfast is after. I don't need you throwing up. And I know it's hard. It's going to be hard until you adjust but you've just got to get there. I promise it'll be worth it."
Running a hand through his hair, Louis tried to quickly think of a way to make this more positive for his friend, but he was drawing a blank. He couldn't think straight. He just needed a quick pick me up and he'd be ready to begin coaching. "I'm going to the loo, be ready when I get back, yeah?" he stated, already walking past the screamer, patting him on the shoulder as he did so.
Zach quirked up an eyebrow up at the other, and shook his head quickly. "You're gonna work my ass that much to the point I could throw up if I've tried eating?" A small smile washed over his features as he stood up from the bed. Still in his boxers, thankfully a shirt as well as he made his way over to the closet to try and find some clothes he could put on that he didn't mind sweating into. An outfit he could stretch in because he was sure Louis was going to make him do some of that. Hopefully this wasn't going to be a regular thing, as well as Zach was coopering now, he wouldn't be too willing to do it every day. He wanted to get better, to look better, but it was just a lot of work that ge gad to be sure he was ready for.
"Whatever you say man, I need to get dressed anyways." Browsing through his drawers while the other vocalist ran off to the bathroom, he watched him with his eyebrow still in an arched form. Shaking off his thoughts he continued to look for some clothes he'd be comfortable in for the time being.
As soon as he'd entered the bathroom, Louis turned on the faucet and used his hands as a cup to splash his face with. When that didn't help, he reached into the pocket of his tracksuit and pulled out his bottle of pills, no longer even sure if these were his prescribed ones or not. He swallowed two, turned off the water, and found a towel to dry his face with. Deeming himself now under control, the vocalist left the bathroom and went back to Zach's room. "Hey mate, meet me in the living room when you're decent?" he said before turning away and moving back down the hall.
He started rearranging the furniture in the room, partly so they'd have space and partly so some of it could be used to their advantage. He'd put it all back the way he'd found it later. After he was satisfied with his work, he unzipped his jacket and slung it over the back of the couch, sitting down as he waited for the other screamer to join him.
Once Louis was out of sight, Zach sat back down on the bed for a second. He was losing motivation for the second time, as he sat there looking at the door. Finally he stood up, slipped some sweat pants on, and messed with his hair a bit. Turning his attention from one end of the room to the other, his hangover was affecting him a little, but not enough to do any real damage. Taking a few deep breaths, the screamer rubbed his palms against the other, trying to keep himself together. He knew it was going to be a long morning, but he tried not to think too much about it. Once Louis entered the room again, Zach made his way to the closet to find a shirt he could cover in sweat. Which was most of his shirts, but that was usually from going hard on stage every night. "You got it, dude. I'll be right out." He browsed his closet for a nice clean shirt. For a moment, he thought about just forgetting the shirt, but he found a good shirt he could get drenched in sweat and then just throw out easily. As soon as he got that over his head, he made his way out to the living room where Louis was moving things around and quirked an eyebrow up. "Doing some Feng Shui shit in here?" He questioned, a chuckle slipping from his lips. The vocalist made his way over to the couch and plopped down on top and looked over to the other. "Alright, let's get this party started." A wide toothy grin sweeping across his lips while he focused his attention on the Brit in front of him.
It was only a few minutes before the older male joined him in the living room, and at his comment, Louis laughed softly to himself, deciding to play along. "Yeah, the balance in this room was way off. Nothing but bad juju," he said shaking his head as he stood up straight, shaking his head at the other. After a moment, a smile took over his features, his entire mood beginning to shift for the better now that he'd gotten his medicine into him. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking down at the vocalist who was now sitting on the couch. "Get up, we can relax later. We've got to start with some sort of warm up. Run in place or around the house or do jumping jacks or something. Two minutes of it. After that, we'll stretch and tackle the harder things," Louis said, easily falling into the role of coach as he began going through his own personal routine. "I'll even do it with you," he offered with a smile, reaching out a hand to pull the other to his feet. He fussed with his phone to set a timer, looking up once he was ready to see if Zach was as well. "You good? Two minutes. No stopping. Go!" The brunette said, hitting start on the timer and beginning to run in place himself, hoping to lead by example if nothing else. He didn't want to waste time toying around. There was no doubt in his mind that the screamer would put it off all day if Louis gave him the chance, so he figured the faster he kept things moving, the less chance of that happening.
