It's almost all about One Direction. Lots of pretty pictures, and fanfic. Currently working on a multi-chapter story [explicit] (click on FINDING ENGLAND (FANFIC)), but I'm happy to take requests. You should probably be 17+ to read my fanfic. Right? I support the boys having their private lives. I don't need to know what they do every moment or who they do it with. And neither do you. Funny how “fandoms” just end up leaving a lot of people feeling out of the loop and not knowing what the hell is going on. So much happens privately that then gets discussed publicly as if “everyone” should know what’s happening, and it ends up being like a bad day in high school, every day. Except it’s worse because you’re here to have fun and it’s not fun to be standing outside the circle. Be cognitive of the fact that not everyone automatically understands the unwritten social rules. Be inclusive! If you were ever excluded from things in grade school or high school or, hell, even at the office, think about how terrible that felt and apply your feelings to your online life to do better. Stop creating little cliques within your fandoms or you’re no better than the bullies who probably drove you to an online life in the first place. Everyone likes to belong, to have something special, and that’s completely understandable, but it’s too easy to become a Heather or a Regina. Resist that urge! Of course you have friends or mutuals who are closer than others, but that doesn’t have to play out in your daily online life in the fandom.

I just want to see cute/funny/emotional/smart/hot photos and posts. I want to find photos or tweets or whatever that other fans haven’t seen yet and share them. I’m not here for a social life myself, but I know that this place is a lifeline for some people and empathy for others is the thing we all need more of. This isn’t going to win me any friends and I’m sure my numbers will go down (¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), but I see people hurting. Actually, who am I kidding? I’m outside the circle myself so I’ll be lucky if two people read this!
