Dolcord try not to shoot themselves in the foot challenge (failed) because WHY are you doing that. WHY did they thought it everything was going to be dandy if they banned 10+ people who was remotely associated with an UNOFFICIAL dol discord server. Like there’s no way they set a plant in that discord server because what they found in there. No shit they wanted an unofficial server, maybe—just maybe—they made that server so they can escape from those dolcord tos. Maybe because they know it won’t be welcome in the official server; so they won’t clash together?

if they really wanted to do this without avoiding drama is by making a public announcement saying any unofficial degrees of lewdity server is by no way associated with them or their partners, and what they say in that server is no way official, or should be even considered. And if they really want to take it up a notch, if they try that behavior IN THIS SERVER its an instant ban (Im aware theres some holes in this logic, Im just saying they really didnt have to do the maximum). Now they’re changing the rules where if you even say lolisho and dol together in a sentence you’re OUT of here. Its fine if you don’t want strangers out of the fandom to think dol is a lolisho game, I get it people are crazy. But you shouldn’t try to publicly censor it, you’re just as bad as the people who attack; AND YOURE THE MODS!!!!

Is there some sort of disconnect how a fan and a mod can both affect the game and fandom?? Even if you don’t work on the game directly, you’re still tied to it. It perceives much worse if you’re mass monitoring the fans than twenty people saying DOL is a lolisho game—its a spectacular. Arguably, it wasn’t even that public too. It was all in a discord server, where the person have to GO OUT OF THERE WAY and GO in there and LOOK through all the messages. Its not on someones feed and they happened to stumble on it. And I cannot wrap my head around the whole ‘predator’ thing, insinuating a character is a ‘predator’ is something you can be banned of… Maybe IM wrong but i feel like there has been implications that yeah some characters are. Maybe not the exact connotation than what it has been referring to, but some, more older characters in dol, do have predatory behavior (you cannot deny that Leighton was predatory to darryl—sorry eighteen year old darryl)

Sorry for the long ass rant, I felt like I rambled in a circle, but dolcord server is a surveillance state and you better watch your back because there just might be a plant in your corner.

soooo theres a different event if this is the second time the Ivory Wraith has possessed you and Gwylan comes to save you, but whats interesting to me are the unique lines the IW says to Gwylan during the encounter (and after)

i think while theres much to ponder on with the dialogue, i think being called an albatross by the IW is the most curious to me.

i think the IW calling the PC an albatross is so interesting because their great-grandparent was literally called Seabird, and it seems in a way the witches follow that habit of only meeting their lover to mate then depart if we assume Summer's case with Winter is how they usually go. Anyway, much to ponder on !

last anon is soo real abt the fact no one rlly loves the pc in town like obviously I lovee getting self indulgent and imagining scenarios of the love interest loving pc and shit but reality is they dont love pc at least not genuinely they all have similar traist they take ,take and take from the pc,they use and abuse , they all put their needs before the pc yes im including Kylar and Robin , and all of them are plain fucking selfish . Maybe this is just a more angsty bitter way of looking at things but I do think it rings some truth, despite this I will keep indulging in my headcanons of eden being soft and loving with pc ^^

My honest confession or opinion or just simply vent. This community doesn't know how to gatekeep their game. No surprise that kids get exposed to DoL and post about it in Twitter or Tiktok, when the playerbase itself presents it as some cute dress up game or quirky dating simulator and not what it actually is, a porn game which heavily focuses on rape and has bestiality with animals that exist in real world, not just monsters. Romancing Whitney or Kylar or Sydney isn't the main point of this game, buying cute clothes for your paper doll isn't the main point of this game, exploring lore isn't the main point of this game. It's always been a rape fetish game, plain and simple. When a popular artist, instead of properly warning any new curious people (who can potentially be kids) about the game's contents, describes DoL as some "fucked up" otome with porn, of course there'll be a horde of minors getting into the game. Then the community complains about minors posting and sharing about DoL on Tiktok.
