STORY TIME When I saw this I could not stop thinking about what happened when I was 7 turning 8 and at a camp with my cousin. You know how with camps they section you off into little age groups? Well my cousin, who was 9, and I wanted to be in the same group so my mom lied and said my birthday had already passed and said I was 8 but in reality my birthday was in like a month. So the first day I remember this kid was in our group but when they found out he was still 7 he was taken to the other group and I was thinking to myself “FUCK NO NOT ME BICTH” so I kept the charade that I was 8 and everything was great. Two days later this girl who I’d become friends with asked me when my birthday was. Any normal person would’ve been like “oh may 19” or something like that but nooooOo I, the awkward potato just kinda let my inner liar (I was a compulsive liar at that time too) so I just looked her straight in the eye like it was the most normal thing ever “my family doesn’t celebrate birthdays”.
