Curiosity lingered in the prince’s eyes as he watched Dominic step inside the room, keeping his eyes locked on the guard’s every move. He wondered why he had come and what was he looking for, but decided not to mention in - after all, Magnus quite enjoyed spending time with him, even though it’s possible he wouldn’t really admit it. How could he when he had a talent for lying even to his own self? Shaking his head at Dominic’s comment about the room, Magnus let a tiny smile light up his lips, just the corners of his mouth quirking up. “Well, I bet it’s not stupid. You can tell me.” He attempted to encourage him, nodding his head. Magnus could sense that Dominic didn’t want to tell him something, so he reached forward, small fingers touching his chocolate curls, gently running through them. “Is everything alright?” The prince inquired, genuinely wondering if that was the case.

shifting slightly on the DUVET, the brunet cleared his throat. unsure of where to begin. he preferred to keep his feelings inside, waiting until everything BOILED too hot and eventually exploded. the consequences of such a thing usually resulted in week long heroin binges and dark spots littering his memories. and while he wasn’t proud of it habits are hard to break. it had been a coping mechanism since the first moment the needle had touched his skin. the fingers carding through his locks RELAXED him a bit. twisting the gold ring around his pinky finger, the guard sighed in defeat. ❝ do you think there are, er, alternate versions of ourselves? like, no one’s life can be so shitty without the universe maintaining the balance somehow, right?? ❞

a loud crash resonated somewhere in the hallway as a uncoordinated brunet crashed against the firm structure of the wall. intense euphoria BLANKETED his thoughts, easily masking the pain of his shoulder slamming into such a hard surface. surely he would feel it tomorrow but not tonight. not with fresh needle punctures still flushing bright pink against porcelain skin, standing out against the remaining scars of old track marks. things had been going so well. the spaniard having abstained for the better part of six months. however, all good things must come to end in. at the end of the day he was, and always would be, a fuckup. a disappoint. there was no redemption for him. he picked himself up off the floor with a bit of effort. flushed knuckles rasped against the door he could only HOPE was the spanish princess's.
