ginny had a child she was currently babysitting placed on her hip as she walked her niece’s room, knocking on the door just in time to hear a shout from the inside. “everything alright?” she called, bouncing the baby slightly as she spoke.

fleur immediately lets out a whine at the wand being taken from her, and dom gives her the fake one to play with instead. the ginger ruffles the girl’s hair for a moment ( regardless of what she’d say, she’s already attached ), and she nods up at her aunt, sighing, ‘ i’m not fit to be a mother, aunt gin. ’

dominique nods, moving her hand towards the couch to grab the fake wand she’d bought from a magic shop, giving it to fleur to play with instead of her actual one. ‘ tell me about it. she doesn’t listen when i tell her not to, either. just giggles and does it again. ’

dom’s head turns up and she nods, looking back at the baby and tucking her shirt back into her skirt with a small, absent-minded nod, ‘ yeah, simple fire-proofing spell work-- ’ she pauses, shaking her head. ‘ yeah. fire-proof clothes. ’

‘ -- y’know, for a baby, you’re actually kinda cute, ’ she sighs, letting fleur sit in front of her and play with her wand ( merlin, please dont break it ), waving it around and giggling as she does. it’s weird to have a baby, and dom definitely had no plan of being a mother ever, so finding a baby on her bed with a note was kind of odd, but it’s not like she could just leave it there. it’s only a few seconds before flames burst from fleur’s fingertips again, and the redhead grabs the wand JUST in time, falling onto her back. ‘ this is HORRENDOUS. ’
