Can I just. Klaus told Caroline he liked her because she was smart. And beautiful. And strong. And full of light. People don’t tell Caroline those things. She’s always been the bitchy, neurotic, shallow, self-absorbed one. And what her “friends” don’t understand is that all the hurtful things they say in an argument then apologize for and forget later, she not only remembers, she believes it. And then Klaus comes along and really sees her, the best and worst parts of her, and he loves her - not anyway - but because of it all. Because who better to understand the girl no one chose than the boy no one wanted. I honestly don’t understand how people don’t ship them.
