One of the artists playing this year's event is ISKRA, flying in from Canada for their first Detroit performance since 2007. Iskra paved the way for many crust bands with their abrasive and politically driven crust punk and black metal music. Make sure to not miss their set this year at Don't Call It a Fest.

Last week, we spoke about one of our headliners. Today, we're highlighting a Michigan band playing a reunion set for this year's DCIAF. The Detroit based band Die Strong, who are playing their first show in four years, were heavy hitters in the midwest from 2009-2011 before playing their final show with the release of their LP "The Bitter Hand of Judgment". Playing a mixture of hardcore and metalcore in the vein of bands like Remembering Never, Sworn Enemy and On Broken Wings, crowds lit up every time they played the MI scene. Make sure to catch their (perhaps one time) reunion set September 12th at the Tangent Gallery in Detroit.
We will regularly be posting about all our bands playing in this year's lineup. Let's start with our headliner and the first band that was confirmed for this year's show, the infamous Eyehategod. EHG will be returning to MI for only the second time in years for DCIAF at the Tangent Gallery in Detroit on September 12th. For those somehow unfamiliar with these legends, their dirty and dread-laden jams will leave you feeling hungover and like you need a shower. Check out their newest self titled record which was released last year when you're not listening to their classics like Dopesick and Southern Discomfort.
Here is the final lineup for this year's Don't Call It a Fest at the Tangent Gallery in Detroit.

September 11th (Friday) and 12th (Saturday), we will be returning to the Tangent Gallery for Don't Call It a Fest 2015. All band submissions and offers must be sent to [email protected] and we will be announcing the first wave of confirmed bands soon. Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to seeing you this year.
Here it is, boys and girls. The trailer for the first DCIAF DVD has arrived. If you were there with us, see if you can spot yourself. Information on when copies will be available coming soon.
