do you think maybe dishwashers are biblically accurate angels adapting to the age of technology bcs unloading and reloading one shouldn't feel this intimate. every time I handle it I feel like I'm rummaging around the insides of something obscurely holy. is it just me pls am I losing my mind.
my beautiful princess with a disorder
Just saw Heretic and if I'm being so honest with y'all the first half of that movie is not horror that is my greatest fantasy come true. Lock me in a room with dilfy Hugh Grant giving me a history lesson and asking me to debate with him and that story would've ended much differently i'll tell u that for free
venom is such a good movie. not because it's well written or anything, but because the villain is basically a slightly less evil elon musk and the hero is the saddest, grossest, most pathetic man you've ever seen in your life, and his freakish alien boyfriend, who kill a bunch of cops and have weird makeout sessions
To all of my sisters, brothers and siblings of the lgbtq+ family, to all the people who fear for their rights, their bodies, their lives:
I am sorry.
I am sorry that you will have to go through this.
I am sorry that your family and friends couldn’t help and protect you from this madman and his stupid, insane flying monkeys.
I am sorry that the fight will be so much harder now.
But know this: you are loved, you and your life are valued, and special, and unique.
We may be internet strangers, but we feel with you, we cry with you, we scream with you.
We mourn your deaths, murdered by politicians that use their power to suppress everyone around them, and we will do everything we can to help you.
But to be able to do that, you have to keep fighting, keep living. Show that fucker that he may be able to buy, lie and cheat his way to the top, but he won’t be able to silence you. Our ancestors fought for us, and we will continue this fight. For us, and all the children terrified of being themselves.
I beg you, don’t give up, no matter what they throw at you.
It will be hard, but together we can survive and live.
Always remember:
You are loved.

"maybe in another life-" "why not this one?"
"now?" "now, yeah,"
Also I'm gonna defend the ending moment between Eddie and Venom. Yes, it was maybe not as an emotional a response from Eddie as people expected. Especially not like the first movie
However the contexts are also so very very different. The threat in this movie was nothing they'd faced before. They were tired and broken down. Eddie was fully ready to give his life with Venom too. He was fucking exhausted and when Venom saves him, what little energy Eddie had is gone. He doesn't have time to react. He's in shock and so incredibly incredibly human. Unable to run to Venom. To fight for them.
At least for me, a bigger reaction would have been fine, but the cold finality and realization that u are watching ur other half die, saving the world, and u can't do a damn thing about it, u can't be by his side like u planned, is much more Haunting. There relationship was no longer a desperate, sudden thing. Despite having separate personalities and being more individuals in this, they were still one. They made an agreement, and it's clear Eddie truly didn't think Venom would let go this time. I would probably go numb too
Saw this trend on fb and needed to make a contribution
CRT monitor in my uni's old computer lab you are like a wife to me :3
Electric dreams was so funny. Imagine getting what might be the worlds first sentient computer and you immediately just start fighting with it
