It’s coming!!! This Monday, July 13th
A Tale of Two Stans is hands down my favorite episode I worked on for Gravity Falls. So many feels. I’m really excited for y’all to see it.
Here’s a sweet poster created by awesome storyboard artist Sabrina Cotugno for the next episode of gravity falls. I loved working on this one too, the die hard fans are going to trip out over this one!
Stan's balloon scene from The Love God! My favorite scene ever. So glad this made it through to the final cut just as we boarded it. Here is the animatic with temp music and dialogue. Sabrina boarded the first shot with Stan and Soos, I boarded the rest.
Hi Friends, the second episode I directed for Gravity Falls, The Love God, is premiering next Wednesday the 26th on Disney XD. Storyboard by Vaughn Tada, Sabrina Cotugno and Emmy Cicierega. This episode is nuts! We had a lot of fun making this one. It features one of my favorite scenes ever in GF. I'll post some boards after it aires but for now heres a crappy poster. Painting is hard, I should stick to storyboards.
Storyboard Pitch Title Cards
Its a bit of a tradition on Gravity Falls to create these title cards for our network board pitches. Usually the director or one of the board artists whip up some cards at the last minute. Its a nice way to start the board pitch and to make sure the executives know who worked on the episode they are about to see. Once the episode goes in to animatic these get cut out never to be seen again… until today! I'll post more as my episodes air. I did this one, there are some really cool ones the board artists did later in the season but it would be a major spoiler to post those now!
