“As soon as I wake up, every night, every day, I know that it’s you I need to chase the blues away.”
“Of course I’ll stay.” He nodded, playing with Courf’s hair. “It’s strange, I always promised that I’d never get into a long term relationship. Then you came and fucked up that idea.”
“Sorry about that.” He joked, looking up at him with a soft smile. “You do like this though, right?”
“Yeah fuck you.” He grinned. “Of course I do. I love it more than I thought I would.”

Jamie frowned softly and pulled Courfeyrac close, stroking his hair. “You know I’ll always be here to chase the blues away.”
Courfeyrac smiled slightly as Jamie pulled him closer, his arms wrapping around the other man. “Thank you mon cher. It’s obvious I can’t do it myself.”
“Ah well that’s why you need me.” The Scot laughed softly, kissing Courf’s forehead. “I love you.”
“I love you too Jamie.” He whispered softly, eyes shutting for a moment. “I need you so much. You’re everything to me.”
“Then it’s a bloody good job I’m never going to leave you.” He smiled softly. “Are there any particular blues I need to chase away today?”

"Right Here"
“Stop grabbing my ass, people are looking.”
“You make it sound like you don’t enjoy it.” The Scot replied softly. “Anyway, they don’t give a fuck.”
Except for “Farmer Refuted,” “Cabinet Battle #1,” “Cabinet Battle #2,″ and "Schuyler Defeated” every song in Hamilton contains the title phrase in the lyrics. This is all of them

“I’m broken inside-I’m a man and a child.”
“How so? You look very much like a man to me”
“Aye, well just because I look like a man dannae mean I feel like one.”
“What makes you say that?”
“I just feel like I haven’t grown up yet. I feel like I’m goin’ through tha’ now.”
dontpraythatway:
“No, I’d say it was realistic.” He shrugged.
“Well then I’d prefer not to be too realistic – we cannot have too much negativity in our lives, now can we?”
“Aye I suppose so.” He sighed softly. “So what are we gonna do about how I feel abou’ yeh?”
dontpraythatway:
“I can live with that.” He replied truthfully. “I expected to have my heartbroken when I came down here.”
“Well that surely isn’t a positive look on things, now is it?” he laughed quietly.
“No, I’d say it was realistic.” He shrugged.
JAMIE:
Jamie laughed loudly, shaking his head at Deena’s reaction. Of course he would tell her how it went, the young man just wanted to tease her.
“Calm down, I was just messin’ with ya. It went very well. He’s fuckin’ adorable. An’ yes, we got to first base. Quite a few times if I’m being honest with you.”
Aha! Suddenly their hands were under their chin, eyes wide and features pulled into a grin. Somewhere behind them Jenny was calling for them to come get their “bloody arse in a suit” but they pretended not to hear. This was far more important.
“Oh my GOD I knew it. Am I cupid or what?”
“Christ I knew I shouldn’t have said anything.” He groaned softly. “Yeah sure, you’re cupid. Whatever you say. Will you not interrogate us now? Or will you want intimate details on everything we do together?”
“You look familiar.”
Feuilly smirked, shrugging his shoulder as he leant against the wall, the busy party still going on full speed around him. He’d been with his friends for most of the pride march but when Courfeyac had suggested carrying on the night at a house party of a friend, Feuilly had lost them in the squished space of the unknown flat. He assumed most were still dotted around, that or they’d gone home with their significant others or people they’d picked up during the march. “Yeah?” He sipped his beer, watching him carefully. “You’re not the first guy to say that to me today and I’m sure you won’t be the last. I work at the male strip club down Soho, you heard of it?”
He pulled on Feuilly’s hair roughly, lifting hishead to kissing and bite down his neck. “Is there anything you don’t like?” He asked softly.
“Not particularly,” He groaned, pulling him close, his hands slipping under his shirt to feel the warmth of his hips. “Although, no violence I guess. Be as rough as you like but just don’t hit me or anything like that. And you?”
"I would never hit you." He promised, groaning as he felt Feuilly's hands on his skin. He nipped at the other's skin as he pulled them both towards the bed. "I have no limits at all darling."
JAMIE:
Jamie groaned softly at his friend’s words. He rolled his eyes and lit the cigarette that had been hanging out of his mouth for a while. He should have known that Deena wanted to gossip. It was moments like these he wondered why the hell he even went to the damn club. But one look outside reminded him of the answer.
“You should know by this point I’m not one to kiss an’ tell Deena. This is something that stays between us.”
With a dramatic groan they threw their head down, hands up in exasperation. Clearly this was the worst thing ever. If you set two guys up you at least expected to know how things went between them. Or at least you did if it was the most interesting thing that happened to you all week. With a pained expression they sat back up again, mock glaring at him.
“I can’t believe you treat me this way. At least tell me if things went well?”
JAMIE:
Jamie didn’t even bother trying to hide how much he liked Charlie. His face lit up, staring at the younger for a moment before he chuckled and looked up at Deena with a raised eyebrow.
“Oh aye, a protege ya say?” He asked. “Wha’ exactly does that entail then?”
Oh my god, they were literally cupid. Charlie was blushing, Jamie had turned at least 30% more Scottish, always a good sign. They took a moment of smug satisfaction before turning their attention to the words being spoken to them.
“Means I caugh’ ‘im cottaging, y’know by Waterloo where all the police’ve been sniffing ‘round?”
They gave Charlie a pat on the arm.
“Figured he probably didn’t fancy gettin’ arrested any time soon so I’m teaching him all the tricks.”
A quick grin flashed in Jamie’s direction, their attention now firmly on him.
“Glad we ran into y’ actually. You migh’ be able to show ‘im some of the ropes.”
“Wait, what was I doing?” He asked with a frown, attention finally being drawn away from Jamie. He listened to the other being sighing shakily. He tucked his hair behind his ear, staring back up at Jamie again.
He was about to speak, but decided that was a stupid ida. The last thing he wanted to do was embarrass himself. So he instead just shifted on his feet, half hoping Jamie would pay attention to him and half hoping Deena would drag him away before this got any worse.
“Ach, I remember when I used to do tha’. T’was a terrible time. But now I just turn to you for boyfriends.” Jamie laughed probably a little too loudly. That was another nervous habit of his. But unlike Charlie he could hide his nerves very well by turning them flirting attempts.
“Oh I’m sure that I can show ‘im the ropes. What exactly d’you have in mind?”
JAMIE:
@badreputationed
Trying to find a boyfriend in the 1950′s was a complete nightmare, to say the least. Jamie had all but given up trying to do something with his love life, which was when he met Deena. They had been able to hook him up with some guys but it had naturally never worked out.
As soon as he saw Deena, the young man walked over, grinning at her. He had had his eyes on the boy next to them for a while, and now was his chance.
“Hey Deena, good to see you. Who’s your friend?”
Sweat stuck Deena’s shirt to their back uncomfortably, the too-tight swimming costume they wore to keep their breasts flat starting to chaff ever so slightly. Hardly glamorous, they thought, but there was still a characteristic grin on their face. It was a Saturday in the Violet, which meant a drag king performance for Deena (better known as Billy P Ness on this stage) and drinks for the regulars. They’d just finished their performance and was chatting to Charlie when an old friend walked over. If possible their grin grew even wider. Of course, this was perfect, how hadn’t they seen this before?
“Hey Jamie! This is Charlie, my new protégé, Charlie this is Jamie, one of the regulars here.”
Charlie hadn’t been sure exactly what to expect when Deena had taken him to the club. Especially when he heard the name. But he found himself enjoying it, mainly because Deena was damn good at what they did. Of course the night got instantly better the moment Jamie entered the scene. He found himself staring, blushing furiously.
“I.. yeah. Good to meet you.” He muttered, staring down at the floor for a moment before very quickly looking up at the other male again.
