hi! i was wondering if you had the clip of philip’s interview on inside the actors studio, but specifically the part where he asks him what philip would like to hear at the pearly gates. i can’t find it anywhere, but you have an edit where you use that clip in the beginning and i also would like to use it for an edit :)

also what movie would you recommend watching for his birthday? i’m thinking magnolia, the master, or love liza, because those are ones i haven’t seen yet! but i’m having a hard time deciding… i’m thinking of love liza, but is that too depressing? idk!

Ooh all of those are honestly good picks for his birthday… Love Liza is the only one of those three where he is the true lead so maybe that one for his big day. It is quite depressing but, idk, it’s a very special movie, something he made with his brother (who got sober on Phil’s birthday! :)), I often watch it on his bday. It’s one of my favorite ways to spend time with him

Russia’s Mayonnaise Mascots Are Weirdly Entertaining

Sometimes I think I should have named this website Follow the Mayo instead of Hold My Vodka.

At Tyumen’s City Day celebration, giant mayonnaise mascots from Russian brand EZhK (ЕЖК) took the stage with a synchronized dance routine.

The clip later made its way to Reddit, where commenters quickly dubbed them the “Russian Backstreet Boys.” It’s hard to argue with that assessment.

Hiii! My name is Sylvia I am a freshman (going into second year) in college living in the Midwest United States. I am currently studying American Sign Language translation and interpretation, as I wish to become an interpreter. I especially look forward to Interpreting in schools and working with kids. I am a trans lesbian (femme) who identifies with leftist politics.

My hobbies and interests: I have a few interests, but they all usually surround some type of art. Poetry is a huge part of my interests, I would like to post my poetry one day but I'm not sure if I have the confidence. I also enjoy reading a lot and I hope to write my own book one day. My favorite book is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein by far. I also enjoy painting, and i consider myself a pianist, even if I'm not very good. Much of my life revolves around music, and I love collecting CDs and cassette tapes. I want to start collecting records, but I don't yet have a turntable.

I absolutely love Twin Peaks and everything David Lynch. I enjoy watching movies as they are one of my favorite forms of art. My favorites are Mullholland Drive, Housu (1977), Inland Empire, Princess Mononoke, Paprika, Perfect Blue, Possession, and anything with Clara Bow.

Favorite music: I have a very large span of music that I like, and it's always changing but right now my favorite artist and bands include Fiona Apple, Bjork, Ethel Cain, Sufjan Stevens, Sophie, Arca, Anna Von Hausswolff, Lingua Ignota and her other projects, Bôa, Fka Twigs, João Gilberto, Professor Longhair, and a lot more I can't remember.

When I get blood samples at work sometimes they’re still warm from being imminently inside the patient’s veins and my hands are always cold because all the labs Ive work in are in the basement and they keep it kinda cold for whatever reason (and I’m also just a chilly kid).

And I clutch the little warm tubes of blood and feel this sick person warming my hands and I think about how kind you might be and how I wish I could hold your hand and how badly, how really really badly, I want you to get better and stay warm and hold someone’s hand again.

And anyway sometimes it’s better to not think so vividly about the people I’m doing tests for. I’m a good little cog in a vast machine of people all trying to heal and cure, and my cog feels so fucking small sometimes. But I hope the blood I prepare for you helps you breathe better and laugh and wake up feeling well rested.

We’ve never met but you warmed my hands and I want you to know I love you and I’m rooting for you.
