Mayhem- the craziest band you have never heard of 

Mayhem is a Norwegian Black Metal band that formed in 1984. Here are just a couple of things that the band is notorious for: 

1. Singer “Dead” at the time would often cut himself with hunting knives and broken glass during performances. 

2. The band often had pig or sheep heads impaled on stakes and planted at the front of their stage.

3. In 1991 Dead committed suicide with a note claiming he was not human 

4. A photo of said suicide was used as the album cover of their bootleg live album, Dawn of the Black Hearts. 

5. Another band member, Euronymous had made a stew with bits of Dead’s brain and had made necklaces with bits of Deads skull.

6. On 10 August 1993, Vikernes, conveniently another band member, murdered Euronymous fatally stabbing him and landing himself in prison for 21 years.

The Devastating murder of Bianca Devins.

*Before I start talking about this case I want everyone to know I mean no disrespect towards Bianca, this is strictly informative and I will not be sharing any crime scene photos. I hope her family has found peace.*

Bianca Devins was a 17 year old girl from Utica New York.

She was described from friends and family as fun, loving and caring. She was an online influence and had quite the fan base.

Bianca was also described as socially awkward and her mother had stated that she suffered from an illness called Borderline Personality Disorder, which can effect how one may regulate their emotions.

Bianca often communicated online because it helped her escape her illness and brought her close to people from all around the world.

She eventually met Brandon Clark (21) on Instagram and eventually decided to meet up.

Brandon had met Bianca’s family multiple times. Her mother said that overall Brandon seemed like a nice kid. Her mother also said that she had talked to her daughter many times concerned that Brandon seemed like he wanted more then just a friendship,  but Bianca assured her mother that they were just friends and that Brandon understood that she didn’t feel that way.

On July 14th Bianca would be attending her first adult concert with her friends, Brandon being her ride.

After the concert it was said that Brandon had went into a local store to purchase something and in that time Bianca had kissed another guy named Alex, upon returning to the car witnesses say that Brandon seemed irritated and possessive.

Once Bianca and Brandon left for the night one of Bianca’s friends said that he had been texting her during that time and she had felt a little paranoid so the two were talking pretty consistently within that time. 

Soon her friend stopped receiving texts from her.

Late that night one of the groups Bianca was part of on discord received a disturbing message.

It was a picture of a girl identical to Bianca with her throat slashed, she had a black tank top on and was laying in a car.

Brandon had posted the picture in her chat and proceeded to post more pictures on snap chat.

The group panicked and tried to figured out who she was with and immediately contacted the police.

Brandon drove her to another location and laid a tarp over Bianca and took another picture with the words “ I’m sorry Bianca.” And posted it on his snap chat.

 By that time police had located Brandon who began stabbing and attempting to slit his own neck while laying next to the tarp and posting yet another selfie on his snap chat with his throat slit. 

Police were able to retrieve Brandon who survived the suicide attempt.

Hes now waiting for his trial to determine his sentencing.

Bianca’s mother has many Facebook groups and community’s dedicated to her daughters life. She says she saw a horrible side to the internet when Bianca’s pictures were circulating, and that she also saw a loving caring side from people who were touched by Bianca.

Her mom says she wants to interact with that loving caring side of people from the internet and tell the world who her daughter was.

62 year old Michael L Dudley has been charged with the murders of Jessica Lewis (36) and Austin Wenner (27).

The bodies were found in Seattle along Alki beach by a group of teenagers.

The teenagers notified law enforcement upon realizing the awful smell the suitcases were giving off.

Dudley had been charging the couple $1500 a month in rent. It is believed that Dudley had been having some sort of dispute with the couple over the payment.

Law enforcement believes thats Dudley had been angry with Lewis and Wenner for not paying rent and for bringing potential crime to their neighborhood and home.

They also believe that Dudley had aid in dismembering the bodys and shoving them into multiple bags. Dudley had also attempted to hide the bodies in different bodies of water to help cover his tracks.

Autopsy reports state that both Lewis and Wenner had been shot and beaten.

Investigators say that 10 days before the bodies were found that neighbors heard yelling and gun shots coming from the Dudley residence. But when the police arrived no one answered.

Marlys Gordon, Dudleys ex recalls an incident with Dudley when he had become violent.

"He started to hit me and grab my hair and my head, and threw me on the floor and hit my head into the hardwood floor. Threw me and my stuff on his patio out the door, and came out and hit my head on the patio, did that with one hand and held a gun in another hand."

Gordons heart goes out to the families and is greatful that she made it out of the relationship with Dudley.

On Friday June 19th 2020 the police received a phone call claiming there was a suitcase that washed ashore on Alki beach with a foul odor. W

On 3rd January 2021, a 13-year-old schoolboy named Oliver Stephens was stabbed to death in a field after his girlfriend posted a £154 bounty on Snapchat.

Oliver (pictured top), more affectionate known as “Olly” by friends and family, had allegedly become angry and upset after finding out that his girlfriend had been sending sexually explicit images of herself to other boys on Snapchat. Oliver confronted her about this and a verbally aggressive altercation broke out between them. In response to this argument, his girlfriend then took to Snapchat and offered £154 to anybody willing to “teach him a lesson”. Further instructions of what she wanted done to Oliver can be seen in the Snapchat screenshot pictured above.

A teenage boy who saw her social media advertisement accepted the offer. Olly was then lured into a field in his home town of Reading, UK, and stabbed in the back of the neck. He was killed just 250 yards away from the safety of his own home, as is shown in the photo above, and police are still investigating the possibility that a samurai sword was used to inflict the fatal wound.

After the news broke of Oliver’s tragic death, another Snapchat user who knew both Oliver and his girlfriend messaged her to say “you’re responsible for what happened and you’re fucking sick for it”. In response to this message, she said “I told the guy to rob him, I did not say M [murder] him”. She also replied with a laughing face emoji, which is indicative of a lack of remorse or concern for the heinous crime that had taken place.

In total, four boys and one girl - all aged between just 13 and 14 years old - have been arrested for Oliver’s murder. Due to age of the perpetrators involved, they are unable to be identified in accordance with UK law. Therefore, their names currently remain undisclosed and their faces have also been pixelated in available images.

A statement has since been released by Olly’s heartbroken family:

“Oliver was an enigma, having both autism and suspected pathological demand avoidance he became a challenge we never shied away from… He could get his own way with a wry smile and a cheeky grin… He always stood his ground and fought for the underdog while having an amazing depth of love, warmth and wit.”

The police have also appealed for any further information which may assist in the handling of this case:

“I would urge anyone who has any information that they believe is relevant to this investigation, no matter how small you think it is, to please get in touch.

Zanjeer the dog was a Labrador Retriever who saved thousands of lives during the 1993 Mumbai bombings. He worked alongside Mumbai police and detected more than 3,329kg of explosives, 175 petrol bombs, 249 hand grenades and 600 detonators. Due to the achievements of his service, 8 year old Zanjeer was given a state funeral and was buried with full honours after he passed away in 2000.

Daisy Coleman, a rape survivor who is known as an advocate and brave voice for other victims of sexual assault, has died by suicide at 23 years old. Her mother contacted authorities and requested a welfare check, but sadly Daisy was found dead on 4th August 2020.

Daisy is most notably recognised for her participation in a moving Netflix documentary entitled ‘Audrie and Daisy’, during which she spoke openly about her experience of rape, which occurred when she was just 14 years old, and the victim blaming she endured afterwards. In a statement posted on social media, Daisy said: “I have been living a life where I am constantly triggered for as long as I can remember… I can’t even remember the times where I wasn’t living in constant pain and dealing with panic attacks or flashbacks.”

In January 2012, Daisy and her 13 year old friend, Paige, attended a house party hosted by a popular school football player. While at the party, Daisy consumed alcohol and became intoxicated. This was the point when 17 year old Michael Barnett seized an opportunity to take advantage of Daisy and raped her. After the ordeal, Daisy was left incapacitated on her parent’s front porch in -5 degree weather, until she was found the next morning by her mother.

When questioned, Barnett admitted that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with Daisy, but denied that the sex was non-consensual. Paige, who was also sexually assaulted on the same night, confirmed that she had seen Barnett entering in and out of the room where Daisy lay “completely incoherent” on a bed. Although a medical examination concluded that Daisy had sustained vaginal tearing, Barnett was believed. He was able to evade any serious consequences for his actions. He received two years’ probation but was never convicted for the crime of rape.

Sickeningly, the Coleman family has arguably faced greater repercussions than the accused perpetrator.  Both Daisy and Paige went on to face relentless verbal abuse from other people, both in-person and online. On social media platforms, they were called names such as “skanks”, “whores” and “liars”, and Daisy’s mother even lost her job due to the amount of media attention which the case attracted.

Nine years after the sexual attack on Daisy took place, she still suffered from persistent psychological torment, panic attacks and flashbacks to the rape. She also felt that she had to suppress her prolonged emotional agony in order to continue appearing as a pillar of strength to other survivors she was helping. Ultimately, like many other women who have been victimised by rapists, Daisy was failed by the criminal justice system and she was failed by others within society. 

According to RAINN, an anti-sexual assault organisation, only 230 of every 1000 sexual assaults are reported to police. Out of these 230 reported cases, only 46 lead to arrests. Of these 46 arrests, approximately 10% are imprisoned - which is just 4.6 rapists. This means that, for every 1000 sexual assaults committed in the US, 995 perpetrators will walk free. The tragic end to Daisy’s short life should be a lesson learned by all who continue to engage in a culture of rape victim blaming.
