Amita: I remember my audition scene, and it was her speaking to Kaz about only taking down the bad guys and not the good guys, and how Kaz has questionable intentions. And I think in that moment, for her, she has this wonderful quality of seeing the good in life, and seeing the good in people.

all of the shadow and bone fandom after finishing the whole show in one day:

we really got so lucky having freddy carter as kaz brekker. i don't know if this was all him or the writers but every single time someone touched him during the show, he looked down at the spot they touched and looked visually uncomfortable. not to mention how much it looked like he wanted to help inej when she got injured but he physically couldn't bring himself to. i cannot put into words how much i love this cast for reading the books and actually caring about the characters they are bringing to life.

the shadow and bone fandom is incredible, like maybe it's just me imagining this but I have never witnessed a fandom being so fucking on top of their game with a show that isn't even out yet
