Honestly adore how Dante is a gentle sweetheart with Lady as well as a feral demon (literally).

i think that m*l is the only reason why they deleted both slides. in her crash out video she hates on both of them and says how insulting the tamlin slide is to the readers which is why they apologize for 'insulting anyone in their community'

she also says that she's someone who has subscribed to their bookish boxes before so i think they were worried that this video would make a poor impact on their sales cause 1 customer showed their anger😒

They apologise for the wording they used too and she was particularly mad about being referred to as "toxic"😂

At the end of the day, this doesn't discredit us in the slightest. It just shows their hypocrisy and immaturity.

Also doesn't change the fact that Elucien and Gwynriel weren't included despite being the "oBvIoUs EnDgAmEs" as they love to claim🤭

Once again, so much for Elriel being a ridiculous ship, right?

about tamlin post - it was a joke. people are acting like this over a joke😭😭😭

And I also agree about the Tamlin post. It wasn't that serious. Tamlin is a toxic ex. SJM has reiterated this point in books and interviews/lives repeatedly.

These people have sucked any joy from this fandom since day 1 and I sincerely hope they all get better soon.

Especially that ginger Gollum lady.

Elriels are the "black sheep" of the fandom but it's the Gwynriels and Eluciens that harassed litjoycrate employees into deleting the Elriel slide on their post within 3 hours. Lunatics, nothing but jobless lunatics you lot are🤣

They also deleted the Feyre/Tamlin slide, which is completely understandable but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Elriel slide💀

(The other ACOTAR ships were Feysand, Nessian and Feyre/Tamlin but that slide was a dig at "toxic" readers😂)

The fetishisation of fictional men in fandoms is something that is genuinely concerning...

Example 1 - Byler (Stranger Things)

Mike's love interest has been a woman for 5 seasons straight

It's always been shown that Will's feelings were unrequited

Nothing has ever indicated that either of these things would change

Example 2 - Azriel and Eris (ACOTAR)

Not once has there been any romance between Azriel and Eris (or any indication that either of them are gay) yet they have almost 1k fics. Keep in mind that ACOTAR isn't really a fandom with millions of fanfics, so that's a huge amount, especially when compared to that of Azriel with his canonical love interest.

Example 3 - Harry and Draco (Harry Potter)

Once again, no romantic interactions between the two, yet they have triple the amount of fics that the 2 main canon romances do...

Example 4 - Leon and Chris (Resident Evil)

Leon and Chris are both main characters of RE but have very little interactions. You can barely call them friends.

Yet again, the top ship for Leon is gay, beating his canonical female love interests...

Example 5 - Sirius and Remus (Harry Potter)

Their relationship has only ever been platonic. Now, look at the difference in popularity between 2 friends and one of the guys with his canonical wife🥴

Like???

Obviously, people can ship what they want but there's no way in hell that most of this isn't rooted in MLM fetishisation. These "ships" only appeal to people because it's 2 conventionally attractive men.

Even the annual AO3 stats indicate this:
