This is simply a list of fics I consider perfect. Consider these the 5 Stars of the 5 Stars tag.

Requirements:

Only fics I have given a 5 Star rating.

Must be at least of Mid length (20,000 words).

I must have no complaints about any of the following:

Characterization - No exception. If I feel even a tinge of unjustified OCCness, the fic is no longer qualified for this list. This means that almost any fics that start with Snape or Harry already attracted to each other will be excluded. (Sorry Tea Series.)

Plot - Must be interesting and original. If using a cliche story topic, it must exhibit a twist that is central to the plot of the story.

Pacing - The story must know when to skim through the unnecessary details and savor the correct moments.

Setting, Atmosphere, & Tone - Appropriate for the situation.

Transition - Smooth and consistent. I really hate long expositions.

Grammar & Spelling - …I shouldn’t even need to mention this. *shakes head at the sorry state of the written word*

the wayback machine is a tool from the internet archive, a nonprofit website that seeks to capture websites as they change over time. the wayback machine is free to use and will be able to help protect all of the first-person accounts of the crimes being committed by the state during these protests for human rights.
