It’s Tonks.
Charlie blushed even more at the compliment, shuffling his feet a tad awkward. “Uhm, thanks, I guess. You - you too.” He smiled at her, still quite flustered. What an awkward situation to be in.
A fond smile came to her lips after the praise. "You know you shouldn't guess," she chuckled. "It is." Awaiting a moment of silence, she pushed away a lovk of his hair from his forehead, smiling before kissing his cheek. "See you around, Charlie," and she left, tripping on her own two feet while turning away.

Slowly, she walked towards him, only stopping when their noses were nearly touching, breathing the air he had just exhaled. “One kiss, then,” she proposed. “One kiss to just… leave no doubts.”
He didn’t want to. He really didn’t want to. But the weight of the curse was pressing on his shoulders, leaving him no choice but to close the little space between them left. With his hands still in his pockets he pressed his lips on Tonks’ softly and briefly.
Tonks kept her eyes closed for a bit longer after he backed away, biting her lower lip. Leisurely, she opened her eyes to look into his. "You're a good kisser, Charlie," she said, "and a great friend."

An Unexpected Visit || Remus & Tonks
Remus watched Tonks for a moment, taking her features in. She was so kind to him. From the very beginning she had been caring. She hadn’t judged and she had always been there for him. He knew she wanted more. Of course he knew that. But he was scared. He believed that she didn’t know what she was getting herself in for. Remus was terrified that one month the full moon might go wrong and he could end up hurting her.
Reaching across, Remus silently put his hand over Tonks, giving her a gentle smile. “Dora… I can assure you I don’t plan on killing myself. But if anything does happen to me I want you to promise that you won’t do anything stupid like attempting to follow me.” He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, nodding. “I’m not worth it."
"Move in with you? That’s a very kind offer but we both know it’s not the best idea." Remus sighed, taking another sip from his tea before placing it down on the table. "I’m moody around the time of the full moon and I can assure you you’d probably be sick of me after the first week. I also don’t want to take any gold from you. It’s your money that you’ve worked hard for Dora. I just need to find a job that’s willing to look past the whole werewolf thing. Both are extremely generous offers but honestly, I’ll be fine.”
The feeling of his hand upon hers, so protective and comforting, make her heart skip a beat and slowly she began to shift the position of her fingers to intertwine them with his. "Do we?" she asked lifting up her gaze to meet his. "Because I can't think of anything that I want more right now than being with you. Definitely the very best idea."
A light shake of her head accompanied an almost smile. "Remus, we've been friends for ages now. I know how you get around the full moon and the only thing that I dislike about it is that I know you're not at your best, but I can't do a thing to make you better or rather that I can, but you won't let me!"
"I don't want the bloody gold! I'd throw it all away if I could have you!" she screamt feeling her chin trembling once again and a couple of tears starting to form in her eyes. "How come you rather have a job that looks past your lycanthropy than someone who loves you and does exactly the same thing?!" Her hands around the mug were so tight that she was sure that in a matter of seconds it would break if she kept it, so she forced herself to calm down and do not look like a spoilt child before him. A couple of deep breaths later, she figured her voice would be calm enough and she questioned looking inside his eyes, begging for the truth and nothing else, "Would you die for me, Remus?"
"No, it’s nothing personal-" He started, the frowned and shook his head. "Of course not, your abilities are great! It’s just.. I don’t.. particularly look forward to being seduced by anyone and being forced to cooperate." He mumbled.
Slowly, she walked towards him, only stopping when their noses were nearly touching, breathing the air he had just exhaled. "One kiss, then," she proposed. "One kiss to just... leave no doubts."

An Unexpected Visit || Remus & Tonks
Remus smiled softly as Tonks proclaimed that she had just wanted to see him. Lifting his cup to his lips he took a long drink from it, savouring the taste. Tea always made him feel refreshed after a full moon. Tea and chocolate. Life’s greatest healers.
"Well I’m glad you’re here. It’s nice to have the company." Remus said gently, taking another biscuit and dipping it into his tea before taking a bite from it. "I was driving myself insane, lying in the bed staring up at the ceiling. I think some intelligent conversation is just what I needed." He nodded, shifting in his seat to make himself more comfortable before wincing. The wounds were stinging and he felt as though every bone in his body was about to break. However he smiled through the pain, not wanting to alarm Tonks. He knew she was worried enough as it was.
He let out a short chuckle, shaking his head. “There’s no need to miss me. I’m not going anywhere. Although sometimes I do think death would be a relief.” He sighed softly, reaching his free hand up to rub wearily at his eyes. “I know how selfish that sounds. And forgive me for it. I just find my mood is quite low after full moons nowadays. Other than that I’m doing fine. I’m attempting to find another job. Ideally I’d like to find a better apartment. This one isn’t exactly what I want to be living in for the rest of my life.” He looked around the cramped flat, wrinkling his nose in disdain. “However before I can buy a new one, I need money.”
For a long moment, Tonks looked at him. One intelligent conversation was just what he needed. She could put her feelings aside to make him feel better, couldn't she? But then again, she was well aware that if he came around and let his feelings for her take over, she could do much more in order to make him heal faster. And she could only think of it in the most innocent ways, change his bandages, hug him on that very sofa, cook him — well, she would definitely do best if she ordered him some soup instead. She nearly smiled when he mentioned being selfish, so uncharacteristic of him for if only he acted as such more often things between them would certainly be different.
"You're more than forgiven," she stated, gazing at his eyes. "In fact, you should act more selfishly. 'M not saying you should kill yourself, please, for Merlin's sake, I'd probably just follow you down that path, but ..." she sighed, looking away from him, "if you just follow what your heart tells you ... maybe..."
Clenching her teeth, she swallowed hard. One normal conversation, Tonks! She could do it, talk with him as though they were ... like any other couple. "You could always move in to my flat," she offered unable to stop herself, "but if it really is gold that you need, I can lend you some. I make more than I can spend either way."
(( I find this funnier than I should because it’s Charlie and Tonks. I really shouldn’t laugh as much about this as I do. ))

An Unexpected Visit || Remus & Tonks
doraxtonks:
Tonks dragged herself from her bed the minute she realised it would not be far too early to knock on someone’s door when one was not expected. She caught a glimpse of her reflection upon the toilet’s mirror and noticed that she definitely looked worse than the night before. Another sleepless night. She should be used to them now, when was the last time she had slept through a full moon?
"Looking like hell, sister," remarked her reflection.
"Thanks," she muttered her response.
After a throwing some water upon her face, she Disapparated, reappearing a second later at a very well known doorstep and knocked. She hoped he would not be mad at her for it, but since Molly had let her know that he would be home after the transformation, she could not resist. It had been far too long and she just needed to see him.
Upon seeing him, her breath caught in her throat. He looked worse than she would have thought, wounded, pale, tired, ill even. Merlin, if there was anything she could do to take him out of such fate, she would.
"No," she refused passing by him towards the cooker. “I’ll do that. Go to the sofa, get some rest."
Remus stepped back to let her in, smiling slightly as she immediately insisted on making the tea. “There’s really no need for that. I’m fine. Just a bit scratched and bruised." He murmured, closing the door before following her over to the kitchen area, ignoring her wishes for him to sit down. He really didn’t want her to fuss. He was fine. A little beaten up, but fine. However he said nothing. He knew it was her way of looking after him.
"This visit is unexpected." He said, leaning against the table and watching as she prepared the tea. He ducked his head as two cups came floating out of the cupboard before giving her a faint smile. “I appreciate it though. It’s nice to have the company. Saves me from wallowing in self-pity on my own." He let out a wheezy chuckle before wincing as pain shot through his side. You’d think after all those years that he’d be used to it by now. If anything it just seemed to be getting more difficult. Once she had prepared the tea he reached into one of the cupboards to pull out a packet of chocolate biscuits and motioned for her to follow him over to the sofa. “So… How have you been keeping? It’s been a while since we last spoke." He murmured, opening the biscuits slowly and taking one out.
Remus took the cup of tea that was handed to him with a grateful smile. “Thank you" He said softly, sipping it lowly before letting out a short contented sigh and turning towards Tonks, waiting for her to speak.
"I know you're fine," she let him know resisting the urge to look at him, "I just want to make sure you're all right." If he kept repeating it, maybe he would end up believing it.
Tonks had the water in the kettle boiling with a flick of her wand and slowly prepared both their mugs, paying special attention to his so it would be just as he liked. A faint smile appeared on her lips when he mentioned being sad by himself.
"Yeah, Molly told me you'd take a few days from the, um ... pack and I —" She sighed, handing his tea. "I just needed to see you," she admitted before taking one of the biscuits and shoving it in her mouth all at once as she put her hands around her mug to warm them as if to give herself something to do.
"How am I ..." she said, gazing at her fingers. "I'm missing you, every bloody day, hoping that I won't get a note all of sudden saying that you've died. So yes, I'm fine," she mocked his earlier statement blinking away the tears that had formed upon her eyes before blowing the surface of her tea and look at him. "And you?"

With a fond smile, Tonks shook her head lightly before looking down and sipping on her drink.
"You’re not going to try, you’re going to make it. All you need to do is love me and let me love you. Can’t get it wrong. Besides, you’re not missing much," she assured him. “A broken heart probably. But everytime you fall in love it’s as though you never had before. The thrill of the beginning, the need to shout out your love to the whole world, the knowledge that it will last forever…"
Letting go of his hand, she dragged her seat closer to his and put her head gingerly between his shoulder and his chest. Her left hand taking his once more, her thumb tracing his skin lovingly. He was the love of her life and she wanted to be his forevermore; how hard could it be to just get it out?
"Marry me," she proposed hearing her words reverberate within his chest and promptly pulled away to look him in the eye, both her hands now squeezing his unintentionally. “Marry me, Remus."
"I .. Just.." Remus shook his own head a bit, with the same smile on his face. He didn’t know what else to say to that; she was right. “Well, concerning falling in love… I never really have.. I’m being honest." Remus looked back up at her, his eyes finding her gaze. “Not ever. Not until I met you."
He watched her drag her chair closer to his, and he adjusted his seat as to make more room for her. Remus slipped his hand into hers as she took his and he rested his head against hers. He kissed the top of her head, her soft hair brushing his lips as he smiled.
But everything in the world seemed to stop in that moment. With every word, he could feel the world becoming smaller, yet in the most wonderful of ways. Everything stopped. The world stop spinning and his chest felt .. light. “I .. what?" He whispered out, his eyes meeting hers. They’d been staring at her lips for a few moments, wondering if what she said was something he made up or she actually said. Remus looked down at her hands and then the floor. He looked to the table and then to the patrons of the bar. Finally, he looked back up at her, slightly lost. The look then faded as soon was it was placed upon his face. Wasn’t he supposed to ask her? He would have, if he had known she’d wanted to… he was so afraid she wouldn’t.. ever. But here she was, asking.
"I will. I’ll marry you." Remus said softly, his hands bringing hers up to his lips before he kissed over her knuckles. “Really."
The instants that he took to look away from her and around the tavern made her heart skip a beat with fear. He loved her and she had assured him that nothing would make her want to leave him, so why was he hesitating?
When he finally agreed however, she needed a moment to process his answer. She watched him kiss her knuckles lovingly as though it was a reminder that she had just made the best decision of her life.
"You will," she whispered more to herself than to anything before wrapping her arms around his neck, not a care in the world to the fact that they were in a public place full of people. They were going to get married.
She needed to chew on her bottom lip to stop her trembling chin, she was Nymphadora Tonks and she did not cry, although, she had to admit that that rule had been shattered over the last year and she allowed the sudden moisture that prickled in her eyes to fall.
"I love you," she murmured so he was the only one to hear. "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you."

An Unexpected Visit || Remus & Tonks
Remus groaned softly as he lay back against his pillow, wincing as a sharp pain shot through his body. This full moon had been tough on him. Tougher than the others. He was beginning to feel his age and to tell the truth he was tired. So very tired. Part of him wanted to just close his eyes. To drift off into an endless sleep. Anything would be better than having to face the arduous change he went through once a month.
Sighing Remus gingerly reached over to his bedside table, picking up a roll of bandages and hissing in pain as he began to clean his wounds. The disinfectant stung causing tears to prick at his eyes as he forced himself through the pain. Once the blood was gone and he was satisfied that the wounds were clean, he bandaged himself up. It was times like these he wished he had companionship. Someone to help him. And tell him that everything would be fine. Selfish, yes. But what he really want was someone to just hold him. To love him for who he was.
Suddenly his attention was diverted by a knock to the door. Brow furrowed Remus got to his feet, shuffling slowly out into the hallway of his flat and wincing as he felt another stab of pain. Pulling the door open he was surprised to see who was standing there. “Tonks? What are you doing here?" He watched her for a moment before realizing how rude he probably looked. “My apologies… Come in. I’ll pop the kettle on."
Tonks dragged herself from her bed the minute she realised it would not be far too early to knock on someone's door when one was not expected. Her eyes went unhurriedly from their hands to his eyes, taking comfort in the kindness that he so explicitly offered her. Things could be so incredibly easy between them most of the times, but then every once in a while, she found herself struggling with something she ought not to, or so she thought.
"Did you ever —"
Tonks bit her bottom lip. She honeslty envied just how easily he could pour his heart out for her, just how easily he could put into words what he was feeling when his fears did not stop him from declaring his love.
She looked away from him, gazing around the tavern and observing the people in there. She would never have thought that she would come to like this kind of place this much. It was still dark, dirty and a little too noisy for one to enjoy it truly. However, whenever they were in a place like that, they were simply themselves. No one else. Not Order members, not Aurors or werewolves, just Remus and Dora.
Eventually, she looked back at him. “You know I never want to leave you. Ever.” She waited a heartbeat to add, “Don’t you?”
At that moment, the waitress returned, slamming both bottles against the table and taking off the stopper, just in time to ruin the effect Tonks had hoped to achieve by letting her words in the air for a moment and she muttered a “Thanks,” when the woman had already left and reached for her butterbeer.
Remus smiled comfortingly before it faded slightly at how hesitant she seemed. “Go on, say what you mean." He told her, nodding slightly to urge her on. He wanted to hear what she had to say more than anything. The fact that she was so hesitant seemed odd to him. Remus was used to Tonks speaking her mind, but maybe this was something else entirely. “Did I ever what?"
He squeezed her hands, still looking on expectantly. Remus enjoyed being with her now without having any missions. It was difficult for Remus to sit with her in the quiet and just wish to hold her hand. Something that simple. He just wanted to touch her skin in the most innocent of ways. Touch the back of her hand and have her smile… a smile only for him. And now he had it. He had her.
"I know that.." Remus said softly after she’d spoken. He knew that. “I.. Dora, I—" Remus was cut off as the woman slammed down their drinks. He glared slightly but turned back to Tonks. “I love you." Remus said just then, his lips still parted as if to say something else. “I really do. I-I’ve never fallen in love before and I’m not sure I can do it right… but I want to try with you."
With a fond smile, Tonks shook her head lightly before looking down and sipping on her drink.
"You're not going to try, you're going to make it. All you need to do is love me and let me love you. Can't get it wrong. Besides, you're not missing much," she assured him. "A broken heart probably.
