Molly glanced at the other people behind Dorcas and mouthed "Sorry" and found herself while she joined her friend. "Where have you been all night? Have a lucky date?" Molly winked. "Wondering why I haven't seen you." She raised her eyebrow. "Then again, I've been all over the place myself. But you having a date would be so much more interesting. I need some excitement since I came alone. Except...nevermind." Molly shook her head and felt her cheeks get warm thinking of her dance with Charity. She supposed she did did have a little excitement of her own.
"Just a dance? You got it, my friend! It's about damn time!"
Moving back slightly to allow Molly the opportunity to slide into the queue, Dorcas shook her head. "No, I didn't get asked or particularly feel like asking anybody." She shrugged, things had been so complicated recently with her dating life, from Ted. to Lucian, to the column then to snogging Rita. Things had gotten messy. Her dating life felt like a rollercoaster, and Dorcas wanted tonight to remain perfectly still. It seemed to be going well, apart the fact that she had caught a glance of Lucian a few times this evening and well the sight of his attention going elsewhere - it made her stomach drop a little.
Her attention focused on Molly, who seemed to attempt to gloss over her pause that hinted at there being a 'nevermind.' "Molly, you better not be trying to hide something from me." Dorcas nudged the other woman gently. "Tell me everything."
"Perfect, a dance will come right after we get a drink...and right after you tell me about this mystery person."
