what i love about this scene is, when butcher smiles, homelander briefly thinks it’s for him. of course it isn’t, he is smiling because his plan has come to fruition, but homelander doesn’t know that. for a split moment he sees billy smiling at him and it makes him smile back. you can’t tell me if butcher said right there and then let’s team up and take down vought, homelander wouldn’t have done it. he was enamoured with him.

also just the fact that the plan was able to work because homelander got distracted x-raying butcher’s chest and rambling about how his tentacles are beautiful and he is pleased because he turned himself into that for him.

Finally inked the sketch from last time and took full advantage to make Ophiuchus as sparkly as possible <3

In this universe, Stellar Force is created and run by The Kingdom as a super soldier team to fulfill their vision for a better world. They're all clones of either members of the Kingdom or their enemies. The team lives and trains out of Hoshikyo, Japan, a glorified compound city run by The Kingdom.

Kagami was part of 'Team A', the more strictly trained team consisting of Leo, Capricorn, Aries, Sagittarius, Cancer, and Ophiuchus. Leo and Ophiuchus in particular were pitted against each other as Ophiuchus was the only one capable of competing with Leo's inhuman origin and Tsurugi and Fathom wanted to incite a competitive environment for them to improve quickly.
