Well it appears the high-heeled stomper was misidentified in the NYT article. A trans woman used her high heels to stomp on the shooter, not a drag performer. Those are separate identities. But I am JUST AS PROUD IF NOT MORE SO to be part of a community that protects its own. Trans women in high heels forever!
