Ummm can you do Millard headcanons ๐ฅบ๐ค

but ill oblige. these might not be very good, i think very little about millard, but we'll see what i can come up with.
- ive barely thought about a visible millard design. but when i have in the past, he has been british-italian. this mostly comes from the fact that part of millard's last name, the "null" part in "nullings", comes from latin decent, in which italian evolved from vulgar latin during the time of the roman empire. i imagine him with dark hair that is about shoulder length and partially matted because of his lack of brushing it. he has really sunken eyes from lack of proper treatment and constant late night readings, and they are a dark brown color with a little yellow around the pupil. he has a line across his nose of light freckles that basically blend into his skin; they are barely visible lol.
- i like to think millard actually wasn't this book nerd super researcher and documenting guy until after he turned invisible, or at least until after he started to. i think he would start orginally with research about why he's turning invisible/why this is happening to him, and then he'd move more into peculiarium in general, and then go down a rabbit hole from there. i think later down the line, it turned into a coping mechanism, something that could get his mind off of the fact that he will not be seen anymore forever. he grew to love just about everything about reading and writing, and i think it also would be a means of him leaving his mark on the world, given that he can't be seen but his discoveries and research can always been reserved and remembered.
- bisexual king* before bisexuality was even known about lol. i am all for the headcanons that him and victor were probably silently crushing on one another and then he later did develop a little crush on lily. he probably never even really registered this until jacob eventually started to teach all the peculiars about lgbtq+ and he has a revelation and definitely wrote so much about it. (*he is no king in my eyes.)
- his aspirations of becoming a teacher didn't develop until after he had became invisible unfortunately, meaning he had these dreams knowing they were unattainable. it put him in a damper mood, and he hated to think about it. though i do like to think post canon, as in far out post canon, he would go out of the loop, age a little more, and would be given the chance to teach in schools/universities that were made for peculiars; i think peculiar society would advance a LOT after the battle of devil's acre.
- he doesn't activity talk about it like someone like horace would, but he actually does have a high fashion tolerance/appeal. ironic, given that he doesn't usually wear clothes. but i think this is actually canon; he owns/wears a smoking jacket robe (those very fancy looking robes with the fur on the collars), and horace does note that millard is one of the more appropriately dressed peculiars that live with him. i think when he does dress, he makes sure that it is something highly fashionable.
- i like to associate him with a dark maroon color. this isn't much of a headcanon, just something that i think of when i do think about him (which is very little).
- he acts like this nonchalant no nonsense kind of dude, but then he also likes to actively pickpocket people, so i don't buy this serious persona he puts on. he just loves to mess with people, he is the ultimate ragebaiter alongside enoch and he finds it hilarious. he also gets petty when he can't ragebait someone (which i think would be fiona and at one point victor). he is smart enough to not try to ragebait enoch. he knows that would go on for hours.
- has a sherlock holmes phase big time and starts to interogate people for the littlest of things. takes on sherlock's apperance and everything, starts carrying around a pipe and a long coat and the whole nine yards. turns anything he can into a mystery that he needs to solve.
this is all youre getting from me. i physically cannot think of anything else. this is enough millard for me for one day.
